I met with Sergeant Olsen and learned the following: Sergeant Olsen briefed me and showed me video surveillance of the incident. On 9/14/2022 around 0814 hours, Carson City School District Bus driver _ was, driving Carson City School bus number 2522, completing his pickup route arrived at Bordewich Bray Elementary School to drop off the children. As the children began to get off the bus, the male suspect, later identified as Michael Thomas Baxter, got into the bus and started yelling at the children about being disrespectful. Michael told me that his intention was only to talk with the bus driver and not actually go on the bus. Michael told me he wanted to teach the kid because the kid's parents clearly weren't teaching him the right way. Michael said he was trying to teach the kid and his intention wasn't to scare him. I explained to Michael that was scared and feared for his life.
