COVID-19 and Animals: What You Need to Know
HOOK
With the recent outbreak of the Corona Virus Epidemic or COVID-19, it seems that the entire
world has stopped turning with everyone choosing to hunker down in their homes to remain
safe from the disease. But, did you ever wonder if your furry friends can contract the virus and
if so, can they spread it to you?
INTRODUCTION
Well, today we’ll be explaining the presence of COVID-19 in animals, how they got it, and if it’s
possible for them to transfer that sickness to a human host. But first, let me remind you to like

started!
BODY
Well, first things first we must tackle where exactly did the Coronavirus come from? Well, it
came from the exotic animal food market in Wuhan, China, and it is speculated that the likely
cause was from the consumption of a bat.
Then, because of its high rate of infection, one man started to infect the entire city of Wuhan
and because of the Chinese government’s efforts to hide the problem from international media
- the sickness soon spread throughout the entire world.
But everyone knows that but, what you’re here for is if it’s possible for the Coronavirus to infect
animals and the short answer is no. But, they can, however, get the virus that causes Covid-19
which is the virus known as SARS-Cov-2
The first-ever animals that tested positive for SARS-Cov-2 were a number of lions and tigers in
the New York Zoo where they showed symptoms of respiratory disease and eventually testing
positive for the virus. It was later determined that they contracted this virus by being in contact
with a zookeeper who hid the fact that he was positive for Covid-19 from the zoo’s authorities.
There are other animals that have tested positive for the virus and the most recent one was the
Mink.
There were a number of reports that came from several Mink farms located in the Netherlands
that stated their Minks had the gastrointestinal and respiratory signs that show the presence of
SARS-Cov-2 and that it was probably transmitted to the Minks by farmers who tested positive
with Covid-19. Even the cats that lived on the farms tested positive for having antibodies
resulting from their immune systems successfully defending the body from the disease.
Because now we know that animals can get SARS-Cov-2 from patients with Covid-19 there are
now researches being conducted about these animals and so far only ferrets, Golden Syrian
hamsters, and cats are able to transmit the disease to their own species and even primates like
the Rhesus Macaques, Cynomolgus Macaques, Grivets, and Marmosets can also be infected
with SARS-Cov-2
And for you guys who are now wondering if the meat you bought from the butcher came from
animals that might’ve had the SARS-Cov-2 virus don’t worry because it seems that farm animals
2
like chickens, ducks, and pigs. Sorry beef fans but, there’s no news yet if your T-bone steak is
safe to eat.
One of the studies done also shows that dogs can carry the disease but don’t transmit it as
easily as cats and ferrets do to their own species.
So now you might be thinking “If animals can get the virus from people, wouldn’t the opposite
be the same?” Well, the studies show that no, you can’t get Covid-19 from your pets even if
they have the SARS-Cov-2. Remember, the only reason why this epidemic started is that a man
ate a bat that had the virus so unless you were thinking of turning your best friend into a
delicious homemade stew you’re probably good to go.
There also reports that household pets like dogs and cats got sick after being in contact with
their Covid-19 positive owners. So, it would probably be a good idea to keep your pets locked
inside your homes instead of letting them free in the yard where they might get the virus from
people walking around outside.
If you need to go for a walk with them outside as most dogs need to burn off their energy,
remember that they too should practice social distancing, and walk them 6 ft. or 2 meters away
from a person. Most importantly, don’t bathe your pets in chemical disinfectants, alcohol, or
any other sanitization products that aren’t made for them as this will only do more harm than
good especially putting masks on them.
If you happen to have COVID-19 and was wondering what are the proper precautions to do
with your pet here are some tips:
1. Have them taken care of by a friend or family member. I know it’s hard for you to be
separated from your beloved pet but, believe us that it’ll be the best course of action for
the both of you.
2. If you can’t find anyone willing to take them in temporarily, keep them in a separate
part of your house or lock them in their pet carrier if you live in a one-room apartment or
something similar.
3. Try to avoid petting them, letting them lick your face, or better yet, generally have zero
physical contact with them as they might get SARS-Cov-2 from you. If you need to feed them or
bathe them, wear all the PPE’s you are required to wear. Don’t think about walking them as
people with COVID-19 must be self-quarantined inside their homes. Don’t help spread the virus.
CONCLUSION/CALL-TO-ACTION:
Well, those were the Animals That Can Transfer Corona Virus and How.
3
If you have any more questions regarding this topic, don’t hesitate to leave a comment below
and if you were wondering what other animals tested positive for the SARS-Cov-2 disease then
check out the link in the description box as the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture)
has a list that’s constantly being updated with animals that tested positive.
Remember, animals can’t get Covid-19 but, can get SARS-Cov-2, the virus that causes Covid-19
and that animals can’t transfer that sickness to humans but humans can give that sickness to
animals, so watch out for your furry pal in these hard times and you’ll be rewarded with a
strong and healthy pet after this virus finally dies off.

THE SRANGEST THINGS FOUND
BY DEEP SEA DIVERS
HOOK
Have you guys ever wondered what hidden monuments and creatures are hiding just below the
water’s surface? It is said that we only uncovered about 20% of the Earth’s oceans and 80% of
that is still unmapped and unexplored - In fact, we know more about outer space than we do
our own oceans!
INTRODUCTION
So it really is another world down there and if you ever wondered what were the strangest
things ever uncovered by deep-sea divers then you came to the right place, but let me first
5
remind you to like this video and subscribe to our channel for more strange and interesting
things here at Snooozzz!
BODY
Look at this thing and tell me it isn’t Han Solo and Chewbacca’s ship the Millennium Falcon?
This thing was found by the Ocean X diving team headed by Peter Lindberg and Dennis Aberg
and was located at the bottom of the Gulf of Bothnia.
There are several theories on what this thing can be: A Secret Nazi Hideout, a UFO, or maybe,
just maybe a very weird rock formation? Only time can tell if we ever get to understand what it
is.
9. Pirate Ship
If you ever heard of the Flying Dutchman then this might’ve been his ship because divers
discovered the Schiedam which was a Dutch merchant ship captured by pirates in 1683.
Now don’t be too keen on packing your bags and scuba gear in search of ancient treasures
because this ship only has one type of cargo - grenades! This is because back then there was a
soldier specified to only throw grenades called grenadiers and the Schiedam was carrying their
ammo.
This was the place where the rich and powerful Romans used to play around so imagine it as an
ancient Las Vegas and just like Sin City itself, what happened in Baia, stays at Baia. Which is why
it was discovered sitting under the waters near Italy.
Baia was ransacked during the 15th century by Muslims which caused all the people to run
away and with the volcanic eruptions and rising sea-level, the little Vegas of Rome slowly sank
under the sea.
7. Cursed Emeralds
If you guys ever played the hit game “Minecraft” then you probably know that Emeralds are
really rare but, seeing 10,000 of them sitting under the sea? Now that’s a jackpot!
That was the story of a treasure hunter named Jay Miscovich who found the 500 million worth
bounty off the coast of Key West, Florida. This brought him worldwide media attention but it
6
also caught the eyes of the government who only gave him temporary ownership of the gems,
making him unable to sell them and leading him to suicide in 2013. Where are the emeralds
now? We’ll never know…
6. Steam Engines
The youth of today will never know the joys of watching Thomas the Steam Engine playing
around with his friends! Now that I think of it, where is the big blue guy? Well he’s sleeping
with the fishes together with his friends down at a watery grave located on New Jersey’s coast.
The steam engines were believed to be made around the 1850’s but, there were no records at
that time of Steam Engines being sunk so scientists concluded that these were washed into the
coast when a freak storm hit Long Beach, New Jersey while these two trains were being
transported.
5. A River
If you ever went on a cruise then you probably said this about the ocean “There is too much
water!” Well, that was probably the same thoughts of the divers who found a river under the
sea!
The underwater river named “Cenote Angelita” was discovered by Anatoly Beloschin, under the
sea of Mexico. What causes this weird sea is actually Hydrogen Sulfide created by bacteria on
the seafloor and can easily be the 6th largest river in the world if compared with surface rivers!
If you ever watched the Apollo mission then you probably saw the huge rocket slowly become
smaller and smaller due to its cutting of its segments. Where do those things land anyway? Into
the sea!
These big boys were resting under the sea for 40 years until Amazon’s CEO fished them out
with a team of divers and engineers, and are now being restored to their prime so that we may
learn about the stories these guys hold.
The city of Dwarka which means “Gateway to Heaven” was ironically found 120ft or 35 meters
under the waves in the Gulf of Cambay, India. The city shows to be over 9,000 years old and
was built upon an ancient subcontinent that was 5,000 years old.
This place is older than Chinese and Egyptian civilizations but, sadly washed away from the
earth in a big flood 9000 years ago.
7
2. The Lost City of Heracleion
This is probably where the stories of Atlantis came from because Thonis-Heracleion was talked
about by some ancient texts but never found until a group of archaeologists led by Franck
Goddio found the ancient city under the Abu Qir Bay in Egypt.
Inside the city were 64 ships, 700 anchors, gold coins, 16ft. Statues and a huge temple to the
God named Amum-Gereb together with little sarcophagi filled with animal bones. This place
was once one of the great port cities of its era and was built 2300 years ago. No one is sure why
it got submerged though.
1. A Man
If you were a diver tasked to retrieve bodies from a sunken tugboat off the coast of Nigeria
under 100 feet of water, the last thing you’ll imagine to see is a living human being. Then,
comes the story of Harrison Odjegba Okene, who lived 3 days in an air pocket under the sea.
He was the cook of the tugboat when suddenly it capsized, killing everyone but him. He
survived three days on a bottle of soda in the pitch black and freezing sea water. Luckily, he was
rescued and no vows to never return to the sea. He is now a cook standing on solid ground
instead.
CONCLUSION/CALL-TO-ACTION:
I bet you guys were expecting a pineapple under the sea and some delicious burgers, weren’t
you? Well those are the Strangest Things Found by Deep Sea Divers. Do you guys know of

THE MOST MYSTERIOUS THINGS
FOUND IN WARTIME
HOOK
It’s tough being a soldier because imagine being assigned to go far, far away from home to fight
people you don’t know and every corner is filled with danger? That’s enough to break even the
strongest of men. So big respect to our brothers and sisters in the force!
INTRODUCTION
But what happens if your unit stumbles upon something mysterious? In war, dead bodies,
bullet casings, guns, and bombs sure are a common sight for all but, how about finding a
bunker used for human sacrifices? How about a weaponized coffin? or how about ghost
planes?
9
Well, before we tell you about all those things let me first remind you to like our video and
subscribe to our channel for more mysterious yet interesting things here at Snooozzz!
BODY
So you’d think that the soldiers who fell would come back as ghosts but actually, their planes
are the ones seeking vengeance. A group of soldiers in England got a glimpse of a WW2 Bomber
Plane circling around Dark Peak, Derbyshire. When he called up his mates to double-check the
others claim it was to be a Liberator Fighter Plane but, radars show nothing on the map.
9. Self-Landing Bomber
Nowadays we have technology that allows cars to park themselves, which is a testament to
how far we’ve come with technology but, back in 1944, an anti-aircraft crew in Belgium spotted
an American B-17 Bomber headed straight for them.
This was a really huge bomber nicknamed “The Flying Fortress” and was coming in hot towards
their landing pad - the plane’s landing gear was released and ready while it was in the sky. So
when the bomber finally landed, the plane jumped and skidded but landed safely.
So they circled around the plane and waited for soldiers to come out but no one did. They
opened the hatch and there wasn’t a single soul on board. Imagine the fear they must’ve felt!
Well, this was the reality of the crew that operated on a Tiger 131. They reported hearing their
mates whispering or cannon shells going to odd places inside the tank. The Tiger 131 was
eventually captured by the British during WWII and is now open for viewing in the Bovington
Tank Museum. The late-night workers of the museum report hearing screaming coming from
the inside of the tank and a WW2 German in uniform walking around the tank which they
nicknamed Herman The German.
10
7. The Haunted Clark Hospital
Do you know what’s the worst place to be stationed during the war? The hospital. Imagine
being in a place where the dying are placed to die and dead bodies are being piled up on the
hospital grounds because the morgue is filled to the brim?
The Clark Hospital in the Philippines was first used as a base of operations for the American
Army located in Pampanga City. When a soldier is too wounded to survive, they are prayed over
and covered with a sheet which caused an abundance of ghostly sightings by the army men
stationed there. Then in 1942, the base fell into Japanese control and all the Americans inside
were either killed or forced to participate in a death march. Now the hospital still stands but is
heavily vandalized and dilapidated.
In the corner of one of the bunkers, was a pentagram drawing in blood and what appeared to
be a baby’s skull lying on the side. Inside the drawers were files about Heinrich Himmler’s
research about Occult Sciences. These people were trying to make demons fight on their side!
In one of the files of Russia, they spoke of an incredible Russian psychic named Ninel Kulagina
who was said to have the power to stop a frog’s heartbeat by simply willing it in her mind.
Other files during the cold war surfaced such as the USA putting telepaths onboard submarines
to detect soviet subs, and some blueprints for a Soviet Mind Control Ray were found.
4. Psychic Finds Downed Soviet Bomber
Because of the Germans inspiring the USA that psychic powers will be the next weapon for war,
they began training groups of people to become psychics for the army. One of the training
exercises was something called remote-viewing, which meant that they were able to spot
things far, far away using their minds. Crazy I know.
Well, one of the trainees, Rosemary Smith, was able to locate a Soviet bomber plane that
crashed into the jungles of Africa despite being based in the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in
Ohio. This information was then relayed to the base there and behold! The aircraft was indeed
there.
11
During the height of the Vietnam war, soldiers enlisted help from the locals to guide them
through the thick jungles but, when the guides reached the dark parts of the jungle they would
stop and warn the soldiers that inside those parts are demons called “ma”
Of course, the soldiers didn’t care and set up camp inside the forbidden zone. What happened
next was the cause of the military developing Napalm. The soldiers reported fanged, bullet-
proof creatures watching them from treetops and trying to kidnap the soldiers.
The soldiers then hauled out the jungle and returned with napalm to burn the whole place to
smithereens!
One of the members of the psychic team, named Detachment G, was able to see a building on a
shoreline that absolutely reeked of gasoline, and inside was a large coffin with fins that
resembled a shark.
After a few months, the CIA was able to spot a new ballistic missile submarine developed by the
Russians, a nuclear submarine named Akula which meant “shark” coincidence? I think not!
So this tale comes from a former Tunnel Rat who recounts his most horrific tale from war. It
begins with him entering a tunnel that was believed to be empty. He quickly made his way
inside and went deeper into the tunnel systems. He then found a white tarp which was covering
a set of stairs headed deeper.
What he saw down there were around 10 Vietnamese soldiers who were all wearing blank
faces and rocking back and forth. They didn’t even move a flinch when he shined a light on their
eyes. He then made his way out the tunnel and detonated the entrance - killing the men inside.

INCREDIBLE CASES OF WILD ANIMALS
INVADING PEOPLE’S HOMES
HOOK
Imagine one day, you had a stressful time at work. Your boss didn’t approve of the new project
you worked day and night for so you wait until closing time to finally come home and hopefully
forget about your stresses. But, as you open your door, you see that your home has become a
warzone and that standing on the living room couch is a Bear! What would you do?
INTRODUCTION
It's no surprise why we say our homes are safe havens where the stresses of everyday life
slowly melt away as you enter the door because it’s true. A man’s home is his castle and just
like any castle, these ones had their fair share of pillagers!
14
Today, our topic is about the Incredible Cases of Wild Animals Invading Homes. But before we
get started let me remind you to like this video and subscribe for more animal-antics here at
Snooozzz! Let’s get started!
BODY
Colorado police were alerted by a concerned neighbor that someone had broken into the house
adjacent to them while the owners were away. The police quickly reached the area to find that
something was indeed making a mess in the house.
When they entered, they saw a Black bear having the time of its life eating the junk scattered
around the home. The bear took notice of the men in blue and fled for its life - through the
wall! Imagine the Kool-Aid man breaking through the wall and you can imagine what this bear
did.
Then you remember, the cat is right beside you. You check the door and see the head of a
monster black bear trying to force its way inside! That’s what happened to a man in Idaho.
Luckily, the bear wasn’t able to gain entry but, did however, manage to grip a case of Pepsi lying
beside the door. He should’ve just kept in the fridge, right?
Back in 2011, a woman in New Zealand was shocked to find an actual baby seal running around
chasing her cats in the house. CCTV footage shows the baby seal making its way from the
ocean, navigate through the suburbs, and squeeze inside her door’s cat-flap! Sadly, she had to
return her newfound friend back where it came from.
15
7. Bambi The Houdini!
It has become common knowledge that animals observe humans and sometimes mimic what
they do. This explains why some animals know how to open garbage can lids and even cross the
street. But a deer learning how to enter cat-flaps by watching a cat? Now that’s unheard of.
A home security camera caught footage of a cat staring at something on the other side, then
suddenly a baby deer jumped in inside the home as well! The deer didn’t cause damage though
and was released by the home owners after arriving
6. Burgling Badger
Seriously guys, don’t get cat-flaps because these things just keep on inviting strange animals in
your home. A man notices a strange noise from his kitchen and decides to record whatever is
happening inside to be used as proof for the police.
What he caught was in fact a burglar, a badger burglar! Who seemed to have managed to enter
through a cat-flap in the kitchen door, open a mini-fridge, and chow down on the frozen
goodies inside? The badger was then promptly removed from the house.
5. Party Crasher
Okay, this one didn’t enter the cat-flap this time but crashed a birthday party instead. Rachel
Stults celebrated her birthday on the beautiful Lake Tahoe, California and had a fun time
drinking the night away.
When she woke up the next morning, she was shocked to see everything broken and messed
up. She immediately called her friends if she had too much fun last night but they told her that
a Black bear broke in the house while she was knocked out. It ate all the left-overs and even
brought the cake into the forest, leaving a trail of icing behind!
4. Mission ImpossiBear
What’s up with all these black bears breaking into houses? Well, if there were awards for bears
being cunning, this one is a champion. A black bear was caught by home security smashing a
window, then sneakily making its way to the kitchen to steal a bag of chicken, then exited
quickly before anyone could notice. It seems that bears have learned a thing or two from real
burglars!
3. Chaotic Cassowary
If you don’t know what a Cassowary is, then imagine a much smaller and angrier ostrich. An
Australian woman was shocked that she saw this rock n’ roll bird chilling inside her house when
she came home from work!
Cassowaries are still pretty big birds that carry talons that could shred human flesh, so this
woman hid behind her furniture while calling animal control. If there’s one thing to worry about
in Australia - it’s predatory birds breaking and entering!
16
Good news is that the literal angry bird didn’t notice the woman so she was left unharmed. The
proper authorities then swooped in to remove the giant danger chicken.
2. Art Thieves
People often think that animals are only in it for the food but these troublesome Raccoons
actually developed a fine taste in modern art!
Police in Oregon received a call from a local art museum that someone has been entering the
building during closing time and making a mess of all the exhibits. The police feared that the
person breaking and entering is an art thief so they planned to catch the thief in the act by
entering the museum at night.
Much to their surprise, they saw four raccoons huddled together doing some minor
rearrangements in the abstract section of the museum! Luckily the raccoon squad was only left
with a warning.
Luckily the cougar didn’t attack the woman or any of her family members. The local authorities
were then called to remove the unwanted guest and transfer it to a zoo where it can be
properly taken care of!
CONCLUSION/CALL-TO-ACTION

Cases of Wild Animals Invading Homes, what home intruder in our list shocked you the most?

MOST INCREDIBLE DISCOVERIES
MADE BY MAN
HOOK
Don’t you ever just sit back and think of just how far technology has come? Back then, if you
said that there’ll be flying machines, spaceships, and rectangular magic boxes that let you talk
and see other people anywhere in the world, they’d probably burn you at the stake! Well if we
really think about it - our things do seem like magic after all!
INTRODUCTION
The reason for these amazing things existing is our innate nature to be curious. People will
always be curious about what happens when you put two and two together. Be it smashing
rocks with each other, burning weird things, or even blowing stuff up - all these things lead to
discoveries.
18
Do you know about the moldy sandwich that’s responsible for starting the creation of
antibiotics? Or how about being able to edit your baby’s DNA and characteristics? Well, if you
wanna know more fun and interesting things, be sure to like this video and subscribe to our
channel, Snooozzz!
BODY
10. Penicillin
Remember when your mom told you not to leave half-eaten pizzas in the living room and that
being on an “important raid mission” with your “guildmates” wasn’t a valid reason for you not
to clean up? Well, for Alexander Fleming, leaving a half-eaten sandwich in his laboratory
changed mankind’s history forever.
The story goes that Alexander was studying ways on how to fight back illnesses like pneumonia,
gonorrhea, and rheumatic fever. Remember, this was back in the 1920s when doctors had
minimal research on the topic. Alexander was so stressed about not having the solution that he
didn’t even finish the sandwich he was eating and left it on one of the tables.
He kept working and working until finally, he noticed the sandwich which was full of mold. Out
of sheer curiosity, he took some mold, placed it on a petri dish with the bacteria Staphylococcus
(a bacteria that causes boils.) The next day they saw that the bacteria didn’t grow on the area
of the mold! Because of that discovery, the first-ever antibiotic was born! Penicillin!
9. CRISPR
A lot of people around the world are restless at night knowing that their family has a history of
hereditary diseases like cancer. Even if you’re living a healthy lifestyle and going to check-ups
every day, what are you going to do with a sickness that’s literally encoded in your DNA?
Well, with the discovery of CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats),
you can just cut off those DNA strands and replace them with healthy ones! What is CRISPR
anyway right?
Well, these are lines of DNA found in bacteriophages. The CRISPR-associated enzymes use this
to monitor all DNA sequences inside the cell. If the Cas enzymes find DNA that can cause
sickness, it triggers an immune response that destroys that DNA!
So why create cures if you can literally delete diseases from your DNA right?
19
apes. Well, if that’s the case where are the specimens of ape people who were in the middle of
that transformation?
Well, scientists in South Africa found specimens of Australophitecus sediba, a species of early
man that lived around two million years ago! The specimen found was a right clavicle that came
from a boy that died at 9 years old. Information about the specimen reveals that it shows traits
similar to primates, but walked in the same style as we modern-day humans do!
So good news! The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIADI) began its first-
in-human trial of the universal flu vaccine but is still at stage 1 of its testing. A company named
BionVax, on the other hand, is already in stage 3 of its testing and is expected to be ready at the
end of 2020!
6. Brain creation
Ever had that really smart classmate that aced every exam without breaking a sweat and you
would think to yourself “Wow, I wish I had their brain instead of mine.” well, instead of taking
their brains zombie-style, why not grow your own brain instead?
Well, this breakthrough is still in the process of creating fully-functional brains but, they’re
getting there. They have successfully made mini-brains called organoids that resemble fetus
brains. They are now using it to study the various illnesses and diseases in the brain and how to
cure them. When asked about if switching brains would ever be possible Dr. Hongjun Song, one
of the doctors responsible for this breakthrough said that it might be possible in the next 10
years!
5. Cloning
Did you ever have that moment in your life where you had too much to do but didn't have
enough time to finish them all then you’d say “I wish I could just split myself into two.” Well,
now that can be a reality!
Back in the ’90s, scientists really dove deep into the possibility of cloning and started to clone
animals to be used as livestock. One of these animals is Dolly the Sheep which was the result of
using the process called nuclear transfer. Unlike other failed experiments, Dolly was born in
1996 and died in 2003 leaving behind six lambs. Now, it has become a heated debate whether
or not it’s ethical to try and clone a human being. Who knows? The technology might go into
the wrong hands and we might have our own version of “The Clone Wars”
4. Artificial Intelligence
20
It’s no big surprise that Artificial Intelligence has been taking big strides over recent years and
that’s because of the combined efforts of scientists and programmers. Now in 2020, the pace at
which AI has been evolving is too fast for human minds - that’s because AI is literally evolving
itself!
A computer scientist named Quoc Le, created a program named AutoML-Zero which develops
AI programs without zero human input. The AI is tasked to simulate 100 algorithms in order to
find solutions to common problems, the ones that fail are deleted and the ones that are
successful are then replicated and the process continues. Although the program is still limited
to its hardware it’s only a matter of time until it figures out how to make them itself.
Skynet anyone?
The feathers reveal that it had reddish-brown tones! Another fossil showed the Anchiornis
which had black and white feathers on its body and red feathers on its head - much like a
chicken! So next time you’re afraid of watching a rerun of Jurassic Park, imagine all the
dinosaurs looked like chickens instead!
2. Ebola Vaccine
Do you guys still remember the deadly virus named Ebola which ruined Africa by causing
internal bleeding and multiple organ failures to those afflicted? Well, good news, a vaccine is
now open for the public named Ervebo! This is already approved by the European Medicines
Agency (EMA) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
The vaccine has now been brought to the Republic of Congo and healthcare officials there hope
to end the virus once and for all.
1. Exoplanets
One of the most debated topics in science is the question “Are we alone in the universe?” Well,
after years of just speculating and theorizing about what life-sustainable planets looked like,
NASA created a Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) and launched it in 2018.
The mission of this satellite is to find nearby planets that have life-sustaining characteristics in
hopes of one day being humanity’s next colony. Although there are already planets with Earth-
like characteristics like Kepler-62f, Kepler-186f, and Kepler-442b, these are 1’200, 490, and
1’120 light-years away from us respectively. Unless we had engines found in Star Wars' ships,
it’s highly unlikely we’ll set foot on those planets anytime soon.
