TITLE OF PROPOSAL: Reconnecting People: An Internet Connectivity Project


I. Background of the Project
The education processes in the Philippines have tremendously changed as brought about
by an unseen enemy called COVID 19 virus. Hence, we have to adjust ourselves to these
changes and focus on how we can reach out on our learners to make sure that learning takes
place. We are guided by the principle that learning never stops and no crisis can ever derail
us, teachers and learners alike, from learning new things.
For the safety and well-being of our learners and education personnel, face-to-face
learning is not yet allowed, but we need to stay connected always with our learners through
online platforms. Likewise, we teachers should keep enhancing our knowledge and skills by
attending to more trainings and continue collaborating with our fellow teachers and learn how
we can improve further our performance as teachers in the new normal.
This is the reason why we would like to enhance our internet connectivity for us to make
sure that we deliver education to our learners more effectively and efficiently. Dubbed as
Reconnecting People: An Internet Connectivity Project, this endeavor will help us
facilitate distance learning and will greatly help our teachers in their participation to online
trainings and seminars.
As teachers, we have taken an oath that our main job is to create a change and make a
difference in the lives of our learners. Through this internet connectivity project, we will be
able to perform better our job of ensuring the education of our schoolchildren while
protecting them from the deadly virus.
II. Objectives of the Project
1. Enhance our school’s internet connectivity
2. Improve our school’s implementation of distance learning
III. Significance of the Project
Communication has become faster and easier through the social media. However,
poor internet connection is a common problem experienced by everyone. Through this
project, internet reception will become even better which will improve our conduct of
online classes, participation to webinars and meetings and online submission of reports.
IV. Beneficiary of the project: Who are the participants of the project? How many
beneficiaries?
All our 18 teaching and 4 non-teaching personnel will be benefitted because all of them
need internet connectivity in their jobs like conduct of online classes, participation to
webinars and trainings , online submission of reports and other related matters that require
internet connection. Of course, all our 420 learners will be served better because all the things
that we do are all done to serve our learners.
