Justification Letter

Hospitality is the industry of welcoming guests and assisting them with the greatest possible experience. As Indian
citizens, we have been trained to treat our visitors with respect and to cherish Hospitality as a cornerstone of our
culture, following the common proverb “Atithi Devo bhava” which means “THE GUEST IS GOD’S MIRROR”
and it has become part of my personality, so I am highly inspired to pursue Hospitality as a profession.
 
I Satveer Kaur, is an Indian student. I am a dedicated and caring individual. Education, in my opinion, is the
cornerstone of a successful job and fosters confidence. I previously filed for a Canadian student visa but was
turned down; nevertheless, through this application, I will explain why.

Academics:

In 2012, I received my Matriculation from the Punjab School Education Board, and in 2014, I received my Senior
Secondary from the same board. In 2017, I completed my bachelor's degree in Arts at Punjabi University Patiala.
After that I worked as Front Desk Executive at Label 1 from 2017 to 2021. As a social person I decided to expand
my horizon in a field that involves connecting with people and has a wide scope in the future.

Secondly, the hospitality industry is a multibillion-dollar industry that relies heavily on leisure and disposable
income. Staycations and boutique stay, I have noticed, are an untapped area, an emerging trend, and a potential
market where people stay at luxurious hotels to relieve stress in a peaceful getaway. There is also a lot of potential
in the business and service sectors. The government is very supportive because it is one of the most profitable
sectors contributing to our GDP.

Third, it is extremely lucrative. Working in the hospitality industry allows you to earn a good living. The country
is a geographical anomaly, possessing nearly all available geographical features. By 2028, international tourist
arrivals are expected to reach 30.5 billion and generate revenue over US$ 59 billion. However, domestic tourists
are expected to drive the growth, post pandemic. International hotel chains are increasing their presence in the
country, and it will account for around 47% share in the tourism and hospitality sector of India by 2020 and 50%
by 2022. As per the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), in FY21, the Indian
hotel industry has taken a hit of Rs. 1.30 lakh crore (US$ 17.81 billion) in revenue due to impact of the COVID-19
pandemic.

I am one of those who always dreamt of studying in Canada. Canada offers quality of education along with
treasure of opportunities. It was my childhood fascination to study from Canada. There are numerous other
reasons like low fee, post study work permit after completion of the course, recognized qualification, high
demanded Hospitality jobs available in Canada that makes studying there even more attractive. The education
system in Canada is more unified than that of any other countries along with all the facilities which are required
for the further growth of the student. Canada is fast becoming a preferred destination in terms of education
among Indian students. The institutions deliver practical and career-oriented training. So, students can be
confident that they have the skills that are in demand by employers. The students educated from Canada are very
successful in finding jobs and hold good positions worldwide. Inaddition, Canada is a safe, multicultural, friendly
and peaceful society with low crime rate and strict gun laws.

IELTS:
Also, to meet the pre-requisites set up by your College and IRCC I have appeared for the IELTS exam in
September2020 and scored overall 6.5 Bands with the individual scores as: -

My decision to pursue my higher education at Niagara College in Toronto was clear since I am a firm believer
that if one has to do something, one should do it with enthusiasm and dedication. I have learned the importance of
exposing oneself to individuals from all cultures, backgrounds, and countries. Because it attracts students from all
over the world, Canada is the ideal location for this type of exposure. I also go over the college's website, which is
located at [Link] Niagara Institution is a historic public college founded in 1967 that
provides a high-quality education to both domestic and international students. Students at Niagara College
receive financial aid and services from a variety of sources, including awards, scholarships, and bursaries.
Niagara College, in addition to its gorgeous campus, provides excellent amenities to students living on campus,
and it is only a few minutes away from the world's most well-known tourist site, Niagara Falls.

Long term goals:

My inspiration to step into the hospitality and tourism industry came from my family's background. In my
family, my uncle owns a hotel business, and moreover, being from a Punjabi family, a state that is known for its
hospitality services. Moreover, hotel services are in vogue in Punjab, I used to visit my uncle's hotel business
whenever I had free time, and I had the fortunate opportunity to spend some time at his hotel. I recall being
amazed by the services and being wide-eyed all the time seeing foreigners and locals visit our location, and I was
awe-struck by the management and efficiency of the personnel and clientele there during my stay there. I've
always been intrigued by the mechanism that underpins hotel and hospitality services. As time passed during my
diploma years, I developed my intellect and found out how much this industry is challenging and demanding, at
the same time varied and fascinating. I realized it had a tone of potential for my career, and there were a lot of job
prospects in the profession for me. Being someone who enjoys taking on new challenges, I found this domain to be
both stimulating and gratifying. I am currently eager to extend my learning curve in order to get advanced skills
and worldwide insights into my chosen sector, having supported myself with a diploma in hospitality and tourism
and suitable work experience. I am looking for a career progression and, in the long run, to fulfill my dream of
owning my own restaurant.

"Tourism, which falls under the service sector in India, is a money spinner," Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder and
CEO-India, Make My Trip, remarked. It provides a plethora of job prospects, with backward links and
multiplier effects extending to manufacturing and even agriculture. As a result, Travel & Tourism has a lot of
potential in this industry. Tourism is one of the highest-earning exports in terms of foreign exchange, with
roughly 29 billion dollars in 2018. The tourism and hotel business is one of India's most important service
industries. The number of jobs in the industry is predicted to increase from 41.6 million to 52.5 million by 2028,
according to the Indian Brand Equity Foundation (IBFM), due to the growth of India's middle class and the rise
of foreign hotel chains. After completion of my studies I would like to open my own business in India.
Financial Stability: My husband is an agriculturist. He has some assets and savings in his account. My whole in-
laws family lives in India and for the duration in Canada, I will be temporarily leaving my husband behind, who
is pushing me to take myself further because “life is just too short”, and each opportunity that takes me closer to
my goals must be taken without thinking twice.

My family has enough funds to cover my educational as well as living expenses in Canada. As evident by the
attached proofs of financial support, my father currently has over ? in savings. Furthermore, I have already
deposited my GIC and tuition fees. I have also attached the Charted Accountant report, GIC deposit receipt, and
tuition fee receipt.

Through the above, I hope that all the rejection reasons have been addressed from my end with clear
justifications. Based on the details, I once again submit my application for a Canadian Student Visa.

Thus, I would be grateful if you would assess my application favourably as I am keen on joining the campus to
savor an enveloping learning experience. I would utilize every moment of my time in Canada to carve a successful
career in my area of interest. My candidature would bring laurels to the College and I would strive to exceed the
expectations. Your acceptance will help me soar effectively in my professional objectives
