I. Subject Matter
Topic: Computer Peripherals
References: SLM Quarter 2 – Module 4 / Internet
Materials: desktop, projector, PowerPoint
Grade 9 Arellano 9:00AM to 11:00 AM

II. Objectives
At the end of the lesson the student should be able to:
 define peripheral devices and its types
 enumerate peripheral devices attached to computer system
 determine the importance and functions of peripheral devices in a computer
system

III. Learning Activities or Procedure:


A. Preliminaries

B. Motivation/Recall or Review
The teacher will show different procedures in installing Windows Operating System. Students
will need to rearrange the procedures to properly install a Windows OS.
C. Presentation of the Lesson

D. Guided Practice/Activity
The students will need to fill in the correct information about the peripheral devices
shown in the table. Answers will be submitted to the google classroom.

E. Assessment
The teacher will present a 10 item quiz through google forms that students need to answer
correctly.
F. Assignment
Students will be asked to give additional examples of each type of peripheral devices.
Functions and pictures shall be included. Output will be uploaded in our google classroom.
