Government can buy 50 pieces of medical equipment or 40 ambulances
Let the price of one piece of medical equipment = Rs.x
Total budget = Rs.50x
40 ambulance cost 50x, so one ambulance cost 1.25x

20 ambulance bought for = 20 × 1.25x = 25x
Budget left with the government = 50x – (saved amount) – (cost of ambulance)
= 50x – 5x – 25x = 20x
One piece of medical equipment is for Rs x.
