We have 3 business segments – Transmission & Distribution, Consumer Products and Illumination.

With 18 branch offices spread across India we are supported by a chain of approximately 1500 trade partners,
over 2 lacs retail outlets and over 480 Customer Care centers
Job purpose & Scope
In charge of the R & D Team and responsible for from concept generation to pilot launch including Product
Engineering, testing, and validation.
Major Areas of Responsibilities
Strategy Planning:
 Devising the Long term Strategy including product expansion resulting into infra Development requirement
aligning to meet investment plan.
New Product Planning & Introduction:
 Carry out surveys with Marketing team, Competitors to chart out plan to be best in the market by
concluding upon the guidelines for new design in consultation with the Design Team.
 Make product feature plan and pricing with Sales team.
 Responsible for New product Introduction Target Setting (Quality, Cost, and Delivery improvements
plans).
Development Plan:
 Make yearly development plan with Product Line up, quantity growth along with Product Planning / Sales
Marketing team.
 Set up Product & Technology roadmap for making execution plans on yearly basis.
Project Management:
 Prepare technical specifications, scope, estimates based on requirements and project schedule while
suggesting new ideas ensuring smooth execution of projects within the time and cost parameters.
Product Quality Improvement:
 Analyze field data from Service for the areas needing improvement and offer design solutions for the
relevant issues.
 Follow up with regular reviews and bottleneck improvements.

Person Specifications
Essential Qualification:, B.E/[Link] in Production/ Mechanical
Desired Qualification: M.E/[Link]
Experience: 20-23 years of experience in similar role preferably from Consumer Durables Industry
Industry Preference: No Specific. If from similar industry will be advantage
