A. INTRODUCTION/ RATIONALE
Each student is different in terms of learning ability, academic standards,
classroom learning and academic performance, and each has his own in learning. The
aim of remedial class is to provide learning support to students who lag far behind
their counterparts in school performance.
Teachers from each grade level requested their students who are failing to visit the
school last June 22 and 23 to undergo remedial classes so they won’t fail this school
year. Accompanied by their parents from 8 to 12 am, the students took the remedial
classes prepared by their teachers.
By adapting school curricula and teaching strategies, teachers provided learning
activities and practical experiences to students according to their abilities and needs.
Teachers designed individualized educational programs with intensive remedial
support to help students consolidate their basic knowledge in different subjects,
master the learning methods, strengthen their confidence and enhance the
effectiveness of learning.
