flexiCal Plus - Initial Setup INSTRUCTIONS


1 - INITIAL INSTALLATION
a) ‘flexiCal Plus’ CD-ROM (GMI Part No. 99553) should already be located in
CD-ROM drive in your PC / Laptop. Note that this CD-ROM does not auto-start.
b) In ‘Explorer’ access ‘flexiCal Plus’ from the appropriate CD-ROM drive.
- If you have an internet connection, ‘double click’ [Link]
- If you do not have an internet connection, ‘double click’ [Link]
c) Follow on-screen instructions.
‘flexiCal Plus’ will launch automatically after installation.

2 - FIRST USE (or to add a new calibration setup)

a) In ‘Calibrate’ tab , select Setup Editor button .

b) Select New Setup button . Assign name, then choose Select Rig option.
c) Enable required gas channels.
d) Select Save button .

3 - CALIBRATION PROCESS
a) In ‘Calibrate’ tab , select required Setup from drop down menu.
b) Choose required Run Options .
c) Select Start button (note: button illuminates green).
d) From ‘Connect Instrument’ window, select Connection Type and COM Port
from drop down menus then select Connect to Instrument.
e) Follow on-screen instructions. Wait for test to finish.
f) Complete Certificate Information.
g) Select Next Step or Stop.

4 - SUBSEQUENT CALIBRATIONS
a) Select ‘flexiCal Plus’ short-cut (on desktop).
b) Choose Setup required.
c) Proceed, following on-screen instructions.
