Eclipse Inline Breakaway Couplings

The document describes Eclipse inline breakaway couplings for compressed natural gas vehicles. The couplings have tool-free reconnection, allow full utilization of hose capacity without flow restrictions, and minimize energy release on disconnection for safer operation. Models are available with port sizes from 1/2" to 1" NPT with flow ratings from 2.5 to 15.1 Cv and maximum working pressures up to 5000 psi. Materials include 304 stainless steel, nitrile and PTFE seals, and optional shields.

BC Series INLINE BREAKAWAY COUPLINGS

 Tool-free reconnection
 TPED approved designs
 ANSI/IAS NGV 4.4 / CSA 12.54 Compliant*
 Compatible with Fast Fill systems
 High Flow Capacity
 Fully serviceable, all kits available
 Low Discharge Break
 Consistent separation force at all pressures

A system is limited by its most restrictive

component, which is why high flow couplings are so
important. Eclipse Breakaways allow operators to
fully utilize larger hoses and couplings without the
flow restrictions caused by an undersized
breakaway.

Safe-Break technology minimizes the amount of energy released on disconnection, resulting in safer disconnection and
lower ejection forces, reducing risk to personnel and equipment. Disconnection force remains constant throughout the
pressure range, ensuring safe and reliable operation at any pressure.

The tool-free reconnection process greatly reduces down-time caused by complex reconnection processes which are often
required by other major brands. The protective shield prevents damage to the coupling in the event of a drive-away.
