John Jacome; Students involved- 4th year BSLM students WHERE: MPH, 2nd Floor CAS Building, San Beda College Alabang WHEN: March 5, 2012 HOW: June 15, 2011- Reservation of the Venue December 9, 2011- All the papers and requirements must be submitted for the approval of the activity January 9, 2012- Speaker must have confirmed his attendance for such event January 16, 2012- All materials needed for decorations and advertising etc. must be bought February 29,2012- Tarpaulin must be done March 5, 2012- All the decorations must be set up in the venue, all the chairs set up
OBJECTIVES: (1) To educate students about the different styles and techniques that one may adopt in order to excel in law school (2) To inform and give students a background about the subjects on law school and where to focus on (3) To prepare legal management students on their entrance to law school (4) To inculcate to the students the importance of Ora et Labora while studying in law school as part of the Benedictine Hallmarks of Education (5) To establish proper discipline, practice humility and stability (commitment) to their studies and to the community (6) To establish a students growth academically, socially, morally and environmentally (7) To help students determine the true essence of Justice and make ethical decisions (8) To instill, promote and strengthen the Bedan Identity TARGET AREA: 4th year Legal Management students ORGANIZATIONS INVOLVE: Junior Bedan Law Circle PROJECT RESOURCES: a. HUMAN RESOURCES: Seminars and Activities Committee and Legal Mgt. students b. PHYSICAL RESOURCES: collection from students and organizational funds c. LOGISTICS: Materials for decorations and advertising- to be bought MPH will be reserved as venue Chairs, sound system, computer and projectors- provided by the school WORKING STRUCTURE: Different committees shall be formed for the fulfillment of this seminar- the Designing and Advertising committee, the committee in charge for the distribution of certificates of attendance and appreciation, the committee in charge for public relations and others. CONTINGENCIES: Fortuitous Events (School declaring no classes, Calamities ets) Speaker may not be able to attend due to him being busy etc. No venue due to no reservation/late reservation y If the speaker is not present due to problems regarding to conflict of schedule a different speaker shall be invited in connection with the topic
If the venue is not accessible, another venue will be reserved as back-up or if still not accessible, the venue will be a classroom
