MULTIPLICATION OF SPECIAL NUMBERS
Question: What are Special Numbers?
Special numbers are two different set of numbers in which face value of their
digit in Ten’s place is same and sum of their digits in One’s place is 10.
Let us understand the trick in multiplying those digits with the below example
Example 1: 43 x 47
In the above example, you will notice that the face value of the digits in Ten’s place is same
i.e 4 and the sum of the digit in the one’s place is 10 (3 + 7)
Step 1: We will multiply the face value of the digits in the ones place. i.e is 7 & 3
7 x 3 = 21
Step 2: We will multiply the digit in the Ten’s place with it’s succeeding number i.e 5
4 x 5 = 20
Answer: 2021
Isn’t that easy, so now let us practice the same
