An academic subject that has interested me has been Computer Science. I enjoy
problem solving and challenging my innovation skills, so I grew interested in the subject.
I have developed and polished my skills over time with Computer Programming. Using
an IDE known as VsCode and a language known as Python, I began to develop and
release personal projects of mine to the public space. For example, I have been able to
release bots to better the experience of users on social media like Twitter and
Instagram. I take into consideration what I think people need and would enjoy using
when writing new code. I want to better the tech space, so I take pride in being able to
do so through computer programming and app building. I first grew an interest in coding
when I watched the movie "The Social Network '' about Mark Zuckerburg's early career
in computer science and Facebook. Over the past years, I have enhanced my skills by
taking free online courses and have devoted my free time to gain a better understanding
of how to create programs and services using Python. I believe that this type of subject
will expand my knowledge and skills not only in this field, but outside of the subject as
well. I have willingly devoted hundreds of hours of free time to my passion for
programming in order to have more experience for future educational opportunities tied
to Computer Science courses that I plan to take at the college level.
