For many years, some authorities have tried to solve this problem. The causes of delinquency are as follow: First, people do not have much money; that is, there is a lack of job opportunities and low salaries; for example, many families earn a minimum salary and that is not enough. Second, children grow up in a family violence without values; families suffer violence in homes. Third, each day we listen news about emergence of gangs and drug sales. This is due to the fact that young people have bad friends and there is a lack of programs to provide work for young people. In short, the delinquency in Peru is a huge problem that we have to fight day by day.
