Life is full of “WHAT IFs”, “HOWs”, and “WHYs” because we’re scared to think of how we’ll end up

someday in the future times to come. We’re stressing ourselves always from the time we wake up, thinking about
what goals should we focus on doing that day and as we sleep for the purpose of hopefully getting a good rest, we
still feel tired and incomplete. These nightmares always haunt me and sometimes it gets so over me but I keep on
going because emotions should never be the one controlling my life but my mindset. Whenever I spend my free time
alone, there’s all the realizations about what I am really up to, “What life must I live?” and “How can I reach the
impossible?”. What I’m feeling is always a mixture of positive and negative so the webinar about being resilient as a
person really gave me that life-changing advice to never quit in my journey not only as a student but to the more
possibilities of what I can become in the near time. I’m just starting to bloom and this value of resiliency is my only
instrument to break the walls hindering me to succeed.
The cultivation of emotional resilience for educators and students especially this time of online learning is
very challenging for us because just like a transferee’s having his hard time to adapt to the new environment, and
get used to deal with his problems alone, seeking for someone to become his friend will take courage and
confidence. If we’re connecting it to what’s happening in the reality of education, the probability of acquiring
emotional and mental health problems is always of a higher percentage because the eagerness to teach and
participate actively, do projects and assignments, do groupworks and take examinations virtually, and accepting the
fact that we need to push through these but seems like forever would take to surpass the devastations are very
exhausting to the parts of everyone. Teachers and us, students are required to exhibit independence in our own tasks
but the problem is, not everyone can figure things out by themselves. For example, many teachers who are not
familiar with learning applications must compromise to teach effectively online but as much as students would want
to get excited, they become passive, lazy, dishonest, and disrespectful. But not only students because some teachers
are taking advantage of this learning mode where they maximize their personal schedules more than their schedules
for teaching, and this is one of my concerns. Time is very important and even if it’s just online education, everyone
should go hand in hand to still build that good quality education. Courage and confidence therefore are important to
be applied as to lessen the threats of failing in life.
We need to be strong and mature enough to let people influence us the hard, but good way to learn the
things we need to be a better individual. It’s not just all about how we become responsible teachers or students but
how we deal with what life brings us. We all are battling with our inner selves and these enemies are the ones taking
away our bright understanding to continue with our futuristic plans so, let’s prepare our armor of faith in God to
make use of the pains these situations owe us, to free ourselves from the shadows of darkness and voices of
temptations that can kill our desires in life. Let us make use of our experiences to spread knowledge and words of
hope to save other people experiencing the same hardships. Let’s teach ourselves to be wiser in making decisions,
and stronger to take the risks prepared for us by the world because it’s more regretful if we stopped living for our
dreams just because we’re afraid to fall down. Remember, real winners are those who are close to the edge of falling
and dying but remained still because they continue fighting to make their dreams come true.

Resiliency’s the only cure for our bitter experiences in the PAST for it teaches us to
accept what’s long gone, devotes us to live in the PRESENT moment, and prepares ourselves
heads up to receive the showers of blessings from God in the FUTURE.
