Classroom Instructional Process Guide

The instructional process involves 6 steps: 1) setting rules and objectives, 2) a personalized lead-in discussion, 3) explaining one concept through modeling for 10 minutes, 4) a 2 minute shared practice with teacher guidance, 5) extra questions and guided or differentiated activities for 5 minutes or less with monitoring and feedback, 6) individual work by the student.
