Module 2-Problem5

Summarizability problems are:

1. All the relationships from fact tables to dimensions table are NOT
NULL constraint except the relationship between Invoice and
Shipment.
2. Invoice and Shipment, For each shipment invoice may or may
not be generated till now. That is NULL is allowed for Invoice
Id as Foreign Key in the Shipment Table.
3. Incomplete-RollUp or Incomplete DrillDown is not present there.
4. Incomplete Fact-Dimension Relationships not present there.
5. There may be some irregularity in source data. That should be
handled.
6. All the formats should be properly followed.
7. In the dimension tables Customer and CustLocation, Lot of data is
repeated like Cust_Name and if country or city or any locations
details are same for customer they are repeated in Customer table
as well as CustLocation table.
8. I haved assumed Location_Name, Sales_Class_Desc to be unique
names, if not unique there can be problems. Then we have to use
the dimensions Location and Sales_Class.
