Pride Sample
1. The first image is of my team. I have been in color guard throughout
highschool and am very proud to be part of this group. As a group there is
so much effort and energy required to compete at the level we do. We
spend so much time together at practice and at competitions that you
create bonds with people you never thought you would know. They are my
home away from home, when I want to be home I’m with them instead. At
the end of the day they bring out most of my emotions whether it be happy
or sad. I have learned so much about people and myself through color
guard and have been able to express myself through many different ways.
Every day it inspires me to push to new levels and become better.

2. The second image is my family. My family means so much to me because


they have always been there whenever I needed them. I have been through
the worst and the best but the whole time they have been by my side. They
always encourage me to shoot for the stars and to try my best. When I
decided to take a break from color guard they supported me and when I
decided to get back in they were right there. They have proven to me how
lucky I am to have them as a family.
