Multimedia is a form of communication that combines different content
forms such as text, audio, images, animations, or video into a single
presentation, in contrast to traditional media, such as printed material or audio
recordings. Multimedia can serve to shape the social context in which literary
works can be explored or experienced with others. They are used to explore,
expand, clarify, and modify student's understanding. The technology can be cast
in the role of support system as they develop and share their interpretations.

This lesson taught me what multimedia is all about. Multimedia
helps mostly in active and collaborative construction of knowledge
structures through the use of technology. Definitely, the majority of
students have realized the huge impacts of using multimedia in literature
study. It allows learners like me to construct and reconstruct my ideas
in audio and visual formats. We can use multimedia platforms to apply
a variety of strategies for understanding, interpreting, and evaluating
texts. In addition, I learned that multimedia is defined as the computer-
controlled integration of text, graphics, drawings, still and moving
images (video), animation, audio, and any other media in which any type
of information can be represented, stored, transmitted, and processed
digitally. There are some multimedia formats that can be used to
creatively interpret various literary text genres. These are blogs, also
known as weblogs, which are websites that contain informational
articles about an individual's own opinions, interests, and experiences.
