The Online On-Demand Examination (OLODE) is designed to offer flexibility and convenience for candidates seeking AME and FC licensing. It provides a structured yet adaptable schedule allowing candidates to choose examination slots based on their availability. This system is intended to streamline the licensing process and improve access by reducing scheduling conflicts and enhancing the ability to plan around personal or professional commitments .

Technological barriers such as lack of internet access or unfamiliarity with online application processes can significantly impact a candidate's ability to effectively apply for and engage with the OLODE. These barriers could lead to delays in the submission of applications or misinterpretation of information available on the Pariksha portal. Consequently, candidates from regions with limited internet access or lacking digital literacy may face disadvantages, further complicating their ability to compete for limited slots .

Candidates who do not adhere to the application requirements, such as submitting by the deadline with the requisite fee, risk not being able to secure a seat due to the first-come, first-serve nature of the slot allocation. Additionally, failing to read and follow the guidelines could result in incorrect application submissions, leading to disqualification from the examination. These challenges emphasize the importance of timely and accurate adherence to the procedural requirements .

Candidates should frequently check the notice board sections on the Pariksha portal to stay informed about any updates or changes related to their examination session. It is suggested they also familiarize themselves with the guidelines and instructions detailed on the portal. Remaining vigilant about portal announcements will ensure they do not miss critical information affecting their examinations .

Candidates are required to apply online through the Pariksha portal (https://pariksha.dgca.gov.in). They must submit their applications before 22:00 hours on the closing date, along with the requisite fee. It is crucial for candidates to read all instructions and guidelines available in the latest User Manual on the portal before filling out the application .

Candidates are advised to regularly check their respective notice boards on the Pariksha portal for any latest instructions or notices related to the Online On-Demand Examination sessions. This ensures they are updated with any changes or important announcements that may affect their examination plans .

For each of the sessions (02, 03, and 04 of 2022), the examination portal opens on 20 March but closes at different dates: 14 April, 11 May, and 15 June respectively. The AME exams occur after a few days of portal closure: 19 April, 17 May, and 21 June, while the FC exams follow almost immediately after the AME exams, spanning two to three days. This pattern indicates a structured and phased approach to scheduling to manage candidate flow and resources effectively .

The Online On-Demand Examinations (OLODE) provide candidates the opportunity to select their preferred date and time for the examination from the available slots, allowing flexibility in scheduling. The examination sessions are limited in seats and are allocated to candidates on a first-come, first-serve basis, ensuring that those who apply early are more likely to secure their desired slots .

The first-come, first-serve principle is significant as it motivates candidates to apply as early as possible to secure their preferred examination slots. This policy potentially creates urgency among candidates, driving them to organize and submit their applications promptly to avoid missing out on limited seats. It also implies that procrastination could result in either missing the examination opportunity entirely or having to settle for less convenient exam timing .

While both AME and FC exams are scheduled through the OLODE system, candidates for AME exams must apply and submit their required documents through the same portal and follow similar application deadlines as FC candidates. However, FC exams are explicitly noted to exclude the ATPL category, adding a nuanced difference in eligibility and procedural requirements. The examination dates for the AME are shortly before those for the FC, highlighting slightly different timing allocations .
