The Concept of Conflict
• conflict- is a struggle between
people. Maybe physical or between
conflicting ideas.
• it came from the Latin word "
confligere" which means to come
together for a battle
• can be either within one person or it
can involve several people or
groups
 an expressed struggle between at
least two interdependent parties
who perceived incompatible goals,
scarce resources and interference
from the other party in achieving
their goals
a process that begins when one
party has negatively affected or is
about to affect something that the
first party cares about

Restorative Justice
• Restorative justice seeks to examine the
harmful impact of a crime and then determines
what can be done to repair that harm while
holding the person who caused it accountable
for his or her actions. Accountability for the
offender means accepting responsibility and
acting to repair the harm done.
Retributive Justice

that focuses on the punishment
of lawbreakers and the
