Code Classification – What to do?
1. Code red: trauma emergency, massive hemorrhage
Surgeon, ER Doctor, Anesthesiologist, ER; OT, and Anesthesia nurses.
2. Code blue: heart or respiration stops
ER Doctor, Anesthesiologist, GP; ER and Anesthesia nurses.
3. Code black: bomb, rocket or mortar threat
Go to the bunker, surgical team go to OT.
4. Code silver: active shooter event, weapon or hostage situation
Keep away from doors and windows, take shelter behind solid objects, go to the
bunker ASAP.
5. Code white: aggressive or abusive person
Notify the UNGU, keep away from aggressors.
6. Code orange: hazardous spills
Notify by broadcast, keep away from the spills.
7. Code brown: severe weather or earthquake
Take shelter indoors with solid walls or go to the bunker.
8. Code clear: announced when emergency is over
Back to normal.
