Identify a particular situation in your family, in the community, or in your school where

God is calling you to serve others. What possible concrete services can you give?

1. Family

During this pandemic, I can start to serve my family at home by building my sense of
responsibility in doing household chores and following my family’s requests and commands.
We all know that everything starts at home, such as having the right attitude towards family
members. Since the pandemic begins, we are always with our family, so it is our opportunity
to build deeper relationships and commitment with our loved ones. In this way, we can start to
serve as Ignacian-Marian students and be like Venerable Ignacia.

2. Community

During this pandemic, we are prohibited from attending face-to-face masses or limited to go
to different parishes. However, it does not mean that we stop serving God. There are various
alternatives to be a servant in our community. For instance, our community- Youth for Christ
is continuing to have an online activity to bring and being Christ whenever we are. It is also
our way to follow the protocols of the government and prevent spreading the virus. In our
community, we can bring together and spread the good news of God with our fellow youths
and inspire them to be a servant of God amidst this pandemic.

3. School

Since face-to-face learning is not allowed during this pandemic, the only thing we can do to
serve others is to continue studying, even at distance learning. While online classes are
ongoing, we can inspire our fellow students to strive harder. Also, be a role model of not
giving up on the challenges of the new set-up. By giving simple motivation and being
disciplined Marian students, we can be great Ignacian Marian students. As part of being a
student, there are times that we have a group project, we can help each other and promote
teamwork among our members to have a better outcome of the activity. It is fun to encourage
your fellow students to chase each other's dreams and be successful with them.
