Check the weather Turn off the lights Empty the trash Give away any fresh food

Give my house keys Water the plants Lock the door Confirm my flight plans

I’m usually really busy the day I leave for vacation. There are so many things to do.
First, I always check the weather because there might be a storm or something, and
that means I have to change my plans. Next, I confirm my flight because I don’t
want to wait too long at the airport. I usually get there an hour and a half before my
flight. When I see that everything is OK, I will do my house chores. I empty the trash,
so the house won’t smell when I return. Then I water the plants, so they don’t die. I
check my refrigerator and give away any food to my neighbor. I also give my house
keys to my neighbor, just in case I lose them. Then I turn off the lights – I don’t want
an expensive bill. And then I lock the door before I get in my car to go the airport!
