SMART IDEAS
The calendar names the days in a week. The seven days are: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It also tells the names of the months of the year.
The twelve months are: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September,
October, November and December. Seven of these months have 31 days, 4 months have 30
days, and only one has 28 days.
There are 365 days in a year or 366 days in a leap year. There are little more than 4 weeks in
a month and 52 weeks in a year.
Days, weeks and months are units of time and they are shown on a calendar. It is important
to have a calendar with us. It guides us in doing our daily activities.
