Transformative Reflection
1. What is Drug and Drug Abuse?
-Risky behaviors that lead to substance misuse addiction often begin in early
adolescence for many people. The majority of these children's drug use does
not progress. One of the key reasons why children take it is because it people
may have when presented their interest. Because there are so many drug
lords in the Philippines, drugs are very common. Drugs have both positive and
negative aspects; the positive aspect is that they can cure certain illnesses,
while the negative aspect is that they can be addictive. In the Philippines,
marijuana is widely used, but did you know? It can help with pain, nausea,
muscular spasms, anxiety, multiple sclerosis, low appetite, sleep issues,
autism, and epilepsy, but it can also be addictive if used incorrectly, such as
by smoking it.
2. Which do you think is true in connection with the rise in the case of
drug addiction in the country? There are many drug users because there
are many pushers or there are many drug pushers because there are
many users.
-For me, there are many drug users because there are many drug pushers,
and there are many drug pushers because there are many users. Do you
think drug users can still get a drug if there are fewer drug pushers? Some of
the reasons why youths use drugs is because they are triggered by someone
older than them. Once they've felt the effects of the drug, there's a chance
they'll look for where they can acquire it. The issue has now been turned
inside out, and the cycle will continue. And also because of the poverty and
lack of education the pushers want to earn money.
As a student, what can you do to prevent drugs?
-As students, we may avoid drugs by avoiding those who are known to be
involved in drugs, focusing on our studies, understanding the negative
repercussions of using drugs, and so on. If a conference on the negative
effects of drugs is being held, consider attending to learn more about the
impact of drugs on your life.
