REPOSITORY MANAGER
 We can create, edit ,delete and compare folders.
 We can view all informatica objects
 We can copy objects from one folder to another.
 We can import and export objects from one
repository to another repository

 It is used create/define source definitions, target
definitions, and transformations to build the

 Mapping represents the data flow between
sources and targets.
DESIGNER TOOLS
 Source Analyzer:
Use to import or create source definitions for flat
file, XML and relational sources.

 Target Designer:
Use to import or create target definitions.

 Mapping Designer:
Use to create mappings.
WORKFLOW MANAGER
 Workflow is a collection of Reusable or non-
reusable tasks
 Tasks can include a session, email notification,
command
 Session is a set of instruction that describes how
the data moves from source to target
WORKFLOW MANAGER TOOLS
 Task Developer:
We can create a reusable Session task in the
Task Developer. A reusable session can be used
multiple workflows

 Workflow Designer:
 It is used to create a workflow by connecting
tasks with links.
 It is used to Execute and Schedule workflows
WORKFLOW MONITOR
 It is used to monitor workflows and tasks
 We can view session logs details or workflow log
 We can restart, stop and abort workflows from
the Workflow Monitor.
 It also fetches information from the repository to
display historic information.
WORKFLOW MONITOR VIEWS
Gantt Chart view.
 Displays details about workflow runs in a report
format, organized by workflow run.

Task view.
 Displays details about workflow runs in
chronological format.
