In the face of a global pandemic, billions of people worldwide are stuck at home
observing the social distancing guidelines. In response to the loneliness and
isolation created by mandated quarantines, many people have turned to
technology. Which brings forth the complex question: Has technology helped
connect people or isolate them?
Different people have different opinions on this debatable topic. But in my
opinion, technology can do both, it can connect as well as isolate people. Like how
there are always two sides to a coin, the same goes for technology. And it all down
to how we make use of it. We have the choice.
From video conferencing to virtual reality, technology is keeping relationships alive
in the age of social distancing. It provides us with the possibility to work and study
remotely, to be able to keep up with the news and its latest developments, and it
provides us with the ability to video call our family and friends, and more
importantly, it keeps us connected to each other.
Although people are physically distancing themselves, it is in many cases still
possible to attend social activities — from celebrating Occasions, events, etc. This
is all thanks to technology.
In conclusion When we look at the positive aspect of technology, we will find
numerous advantages and it also goes viscera when we look at this topic in a
negative aspect we can find numerous disadvantage I would say this topic solely
depends upon the person’s interoperation and their way of thinking
