Learning our Faith
The Temptation of Jesus (Mark 4:8-11)
The devil took Jesus up to the high mountain,
and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world.
The devil said to Jesus, “All these I shall give
you, if you bow and worship me.”
Jesus said, “Get away Satan”. It is written:
Only the Lord your God shall you worship and him alone shall you serve.
Then the devil left Jesus and the angels came to help Him.
We believe that Jesus is the obedient Son of God.
We believe that Jesus obeyed His Father even if there are temptations.
When Jesus became man and lived on earth, He had faced Satan.
Jesus spent 40 days in the desert praying and trusting only in God. He
remained strong and obedient.
Jesus accepted His Father’s plan of salvation for all people. He never
gave up; in loving obedience He said “Yes” to His Father.

Remember the story.
