Student’s Stock Investment Decision in Jakarta

Abstract: Stock investment is one of popular type of investment in Indonesia. Undergraduate
student, as one of OJK’s target for financial education, is about to enter the industry and will be
responsible for their own financial decision. The subject of this research is undergraduate student of
the capital market community in Jakarta. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of student
investors in Jakarta, and to analyze the factors that influence student’s investment decision in
Jakarta. Factors analyzed in this research are neutral information, accounting information, firm
image coincidence, classics, social relevance, advocate recommendation and personal financial
needs

INTRODUCTION
