Resolution No. 27, series 2018

RESOLUTION REORGANIZING THE BARANGAY ANTI-RABIES TASK FORCE WHICH SHALL SERVE AS THE
BARANGAY RABIES CONTROL COMMITTEE IN THE BARANGAY.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Ordinance No. 2017-005 an Ordinance Adopting the implementation
of Republic Act 9482, otherwise known as “An act providing for the control and elimination of human
and animal rabies, mandates the creation of Barangay Rabies Control Committee to protect and
promote the right health of barangay constituents.

WHEREFORE, on the motion of Kagawad Guillermo C. Galera, duly seconded by the august body,
it was –

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to reorganize the Barangay Anti-Rabies Task Force which
shall serve as the Barangay Rabies Control Committee in the barangay, with the following composition
and membership and their functions:

Section 1 Composition

Chairman : RENATO M. MERCADO Punong Barangay


Vice Chairman : GUILLERMO C. GALERA Kag. Chair on Agriculture
Members : CHRISTIAN M. DELA CUESTA Dept. of Agriculture, Rep.
: LOUIE E. DEL ROSARIO Kagawad Committee on Health
: RONEL V. DORONIO Youth Representative
: ESMERALDA A. AGUINALDO BHW
: RUSTICO D. GARCIA NGO Representative

Section 2 Functions

1. Recommend policy directions to higher anti-rabies task force;


2. Formulate Barangay Anti-Rabies plan to address anti-rabies issues and concern in the
barangay
3. Disseminate anti-rabies policies, standards and guidelines; and
4. Submit quarterly report to the Department of Agriculture, Department of Health and
furnished a copy of said report to the DILG Municipal Office.
