Food Inspector Coordination Updates

This document provides updates from two wards on issues related to the Public Distribution System and Grievance Redressal Mechanisms. For Ward 60/Deshyanagar, awareness workshops have been conducted, GRMs held to address issues identified, and a public hearing done. Baseline gaps in ration cards were identified and submitted. For Ward 55/Rajeevgandinagar, similar activities like awareness workshops and GRMs were conducted, baseline gaps submitted, and inspections done in response to GRM reports. Status updates are provided on various RTI applications filed to obtain information from departments.

29th Jan 2010, RFC-K Bangalore District committee meeting and formed a core for
Bangalore urban District and civic is the Secretariat of Bangalore Chapter.
21st Jan 2011, workshop in Lingrajpuram, DV-85(collaboration with Fedina)
22nd Jan 2010, first District level workshop by civic and RFC, workshop on PDS
and ICDS for DBM staff and Members around Bangalore is organized.
27th Feb 2011: 3 Trainings conducted as follow-up of Workshop conducted on 22nd.
This is also as replication method. This 3 areas are belongs to working area of
DBM.

Status of problems Submitted, Inspection conducted, report Inspection conducted, repot received
identified in the GRM received and notice issued to the Shop and penalized 2 shops and others
and submitted to answer. received warning letters, second GRM
report received now, need to act now
