WRITING TASK 1:

WRITING TASK 2:

These days, more and more individuals keen on opting for self-employment, instead of working
for a company or an institution. This essay will indicate several main reasons, and being self-
employed has detrimental effect on the life of workers.

There are a great deal of reasons to analyze why more people choose to be self-employed
nowadays. Firstly, freedom in working is one of the potential justification for this case. Sole
proprietorship is free to make decisions, and not depend on bosses. This reason can help them to
be more creative in their work, and easy to express their opinion without being influenced by
someone's imposition such as the boss or the superior person. Secondly, owner receives all profit
and become the wealth quickly. When individuals become owners, they are able to earn their all
revenue and if their works are lucky, they will have big amount of income, not depend on their
positions’ salary cap when being the employees in the past.

However, choosing to be self-employed may also have some disadvantages. Unlimited liabilty is
becoming a big detrimental effect on sole proprietorship. For example, if the company that you
own goes bankrupt, any debt or damages will be responsible by only you. It means that you must
sell your home, car, or anything else to deal with this problems in your company. In addition,
self-employment often requires excessive workload and longer working hours, since people who
work for themselves have to handle all aspects of their business, ranging from marketing and
sales to financial and administrative responsibilities.
In conclusion, although being an owner has certain advantages, there are some drawback on this
trend that should be considered carefully.
