The following defines the steps to register and login procedure to MasterLink R500 for PC software.

Procedure

MasterLink R500 for PC Activation


Install MasterLink R500. Request a User Name and License file from a Honeywell representative.

The email received from Honeywell with the *.mlk file, will also have a User Name mentioned in the
same email.

Please follow the below mentioned steps.

Registration Procedure:

1. Open the mail containing the key file in attachment. Save *.mlk file to PC.
Note: Provided license key is valid for 48 hours only.
2. Open the MasterLink app to display the user login screen

3. Select the New User button.

4. Register the Software using the “User Name” and *.mlk file provided.

a. Enter User name provided in the email


b. Select license *.mlk file that you saved to PC.
c. Click the symbol to browse for the location of the *.mlk file.
d. Choose any Password (Refer to Password rules section before choosing a password)

Password Rules:
Password should adhere to the following rules:

 Minimum 8 digits
 At least 1 Capital letter
 At least 1 Numeric letter
 At least 1 Special number

Example: Password@1

e. Re-enter your Password.
f. Click on Register, to complete the registration

Login to MasterLink

Open the MasterLink app to display the user login screen

1. Enter User Name


2. Enter Password
3. Select Sign In, which displays the following MasterLink screen
