The graph illustrates the amount of CO2 emissions which are produced by several areas in the world

in 1995.

Overall, it is obvious that developed areas have higher CO2 levels than developing one. It could be
seen easily that North America was the most popular area in CO2 emission, 19.34 tons. This was almost
double the second one, all the OECD countries combined. In contrast, non-OECD countries, Asia/Pacific
and Latin & Caribbean have the smallest levels of CO2 emission, at 2.4,2.31,2.58 tonnes per person per
year respectively.

European nations also emit huge amounts of CO2, with Central and Eastern Europe producing 9.25
tonnes per capita, and Western Europe slightly less. On the other hand, countries in Middle East &
Central Asia and Africa are responsible for considerably smaller amount.
The chart illustrates a fluctuation of the number of serious crime levels during the period between
1978 and 2000.

It is clear to see that the total violent has the greatest level. Started by 3.5 thousand in 1978, it has an
unstable increase and reached a peak of 4.5 thousand in 1988. Since then, the total violent crime fell to
a low of approximately 3 thousand in 2000. The crimes victimisations reported to police fluctuated
between 2-2.5 thousand from 1978 to 1990 then decreased gradually, at almost 2.25 thousand in 2000.

On the other hand, the crimes recorded to police had a gradually rise from almost 0.75 and peaked at
approximately 1.8 during the period between 1978 and 1994. Then, it had a slight decline, about 1.5
thousand. The number of arrests for violent crime rose and fell unstably and peak at approximately 0.75
thousand in 1996. In last five years, both crimes recorded by police and arrests for crime violent
dropped slightly and the figures were 1.5 and 0.5 thousand respectively in 2000.

Overall, the violent crime rate, as well as the victimsations to police, crimes recorded and arrests for
violent crime, was not subject to strong fluctuation in the final two decades of the last century, although
by the end of the century, there was a trend toward lower violent crime levels.
