The Harsh Reality
He seemed to be at the peak of his life. Nothing could stop him. He felt like Superman,
the Man of Steel. Having the girl of his life and thinking no one could ever separate them. Even
if it was them against the world. He pictured the world to be perfect and in the grasp of his
hands. But then he got hit with reality. She did not feel the same way. She did not picture
themselves as he pictured it. She had fallen out of love, so she cut off all ties. So, he had also
fallen, but into a dark abyss. Completely lost and in pain.

The Shutdown
The school year seemed to almost be done. Everyone is getting ready to finish the school year.
Lil Uzi finally released his anticipated album Eternal Atake. The sun is starting to get blazing hot
as the days pass. Life seems to be good. Suddenly there was no school for two weeks and
everyone was excited. But then those two weeks turned into a month and then a couple of
months and then more and more months stacked up. Staying home all day got everyone bored
after a while. Everyone has missed so many things due to a global pandemic. It just felt like
everyone got stuck in a time loop. As days start to repeat itself. It was an endless purgatory.

Different
As he was scrolling through Snapchat bored out of his mind. He would rather see paint dry than
just stay in bed all day. Until he came across a cute girl’s story. He just swiped up to say hi. But
that hi slowly turned into deep and more meaningful conversations. He looked forward to texting
her every day. Every time he seen her name on his phone, he got so nervous it was as if he had
butterflies in his stomach. He finally had built the courage to ask her to be his girlfriend. As soon
as he asked, she said yes immediately. He was shocked but at the same time relieved as like you
finally complete running a mile, the feeling of dying but also relief. Till this day he is still with
his girlfriend, the one who makes him happy every day. He can say he has found a meaning and
love again.
