Machine START

turn „ON“ battery isolating switch inside the unit

turn controller ON/OFF switch from [o] to [I]


(below the SCM controller)

system starts and KAESER logo is on the display


after 2-3 seconds, basic display appears

press blinking green key


and the starter will
start the engine

after a short warm up,


up the load key is blinking
press load key
the unit is producing compressed air

Machine STOP

Always use the red key to turn off the unit !!


Only in case of emergency use the quick-stop push-button

• unit goes into idling mode in order to cool down


• countdown is shown in order to protect turbocharger
• then automatic machine stop and re-start
re start is inhibited for 20 sec
• blinking of the green key signalized ready for start

Turn controller ON/OFF switch from [ I ] to [o]


(below the SCM controller)

Wait until display is out and the controller has turned off.

(while shutting down, the controller is saving data in the background)

When display has completely shut down,


turn OFF battery isolation switch inside the unit.

Changing the pressure

The pressure can be changed, no matter if the machine is running or turned off.

in steps of 0,1 bar in steps of 0,1 bar
down to minimum of 5,0 bar up to 0,5 bar above Pmax

2. Set numbers with arrow up/down

3. Use arrow left/right to go to next digit

4. Confirm with „enter“

5. Press „esc“ to go back to initial display

1. Increase pressure with arrow left/right


up to max 1,5 above bar Pmax

2. This pressure increase is only temporary


and will be set back to max. operation pressure
automatically after 5 minutes.

Resetting the maintenance

Only reset time when controller is ON and machine is OFF !
