Reflection Essay #2

What I learned in the first essay was starting an essay. Starting essays are hard and

learning to continue to work on ways to start one is something I’ve been learning. Some things

that I have been learning in other classes are how to cite more and explain the citation more

clearly. Something that I did not use essay 2 that I used in essay 1 was the topic. I had to change

topics to be able to learn more and explore more ideas. Something that I learned in another class

that I did not use in this one was brainstorming. Brainstorming has become something that I do

not find helpful sometimes. What I learned in this essay was that coming up with questions can

be a little difficult. But it is something that is not hard but it is something that is durable. What I

think that I did not learn in this essay that I can not use in other classes is nothing. Honestly, I

think that I can use something from this essay that will be used in another class. The creation of

the annotated bibliography and the research essay helped me come up with more questions that

will lead to more answers and/or questions. It helped me create more summaries of the articles

and explain the idea behind the article. I believe that my writing has gotten a bit better, but also a

bit worse. I am not a writer and it is hard for me to comprehend some of the essay questions. But

at the same time, I think that it has improve greatly. The reason why is because I had more faith

in myself as a writer this semester than before. I think that the comments would probably be the

same. I tend to go off-topic sometimes when I am writing so I think that it would be the same.

What the most challenging aspect of this unit was the situation that I have faced. It was

something really hard and it is the reason why I did not turn in the essay on time. But the least

challenging is that I was able to write this essay like it was a slice of cake. It was super easy for

me.
