Topic 1: Describe a friend that you spend a lot of time with

I have a lot of friends but the friend whom I spend most time with is Thang. We met each other
the first time at the gate of my school, he bumped into me. I remember we were 15 years old at that
time. But until we got to 10th grade, we’ve been in friendship officially. He was monitor, so you know, be
a friend of monitor, you have a lot of benefits. However, that is not reason why we stick together. We
have many things in common. We both like music, film, food… so we spend a lot of time to experience
these things together. He’s also a trustworthy person who you make sure you can share yours secrets
that you can’t tell to any ones else. And now, we have been best friend for 7 years, and I’m very glad and
proud to have friend like him and we will stick together for a long long time.

Topic 2: An activity/hobby/sport:

When I was a child, I was very afraid of water and I never thought I can swim. However, when I
went to university, I must pass the swimming subject so I spent a lot of time and effort learning to swim.
Then I find out, the most difficult thing is not the technique, the skill, but the fear. The fear is what pulls
you down, not the water. But finally, I learned to control my fear and I could swim. But that's not the
only success, I enjoy swimming more than ever. When I swim, I feel very relaxed, it makes my mind so
light, you know, like floating on water. It is not only good for my health, but it also is the most effective
method for me to relieve stress. Until now, it is still my favorite sport.

Topic 3: Holiday

In the summer of 2019, I had a 4 days-holiday with my family. We visited Vung Tau city where my uncle
and aunt live, so I experienced all the best things in here. It has very blue and clean beach, the most
beautiful beach I have ever seen. The sand was not too bright, but very soft and smooth. The weather
was wonderful, it was sunny but not too hot, so we spent a lot of time on the beach. Another thing is
that the food was very delicious, especially the seafood, they were very fresh, I could buy them at the
beach. But the most important thing is I can have the great time with my family, my uncle, my aunt, my
cousin that makes this place more special than ever. We played, ate, laughed and did many things else
together. This was truly a memorable trip for me.

Topic 4: TV program

My favorite program is the news program at 7 pm everyday. I've been watching it since I was a
kid. It helps me update the news every day, the hottest news. Especially in the situation that we have to
live with covid. Moreover, the news is helps to connect the members in my family together. We often
watch it during dinner and discuss the news. It creates a very positive energy. Although this is a
traditional method and there are many different ways of updating news on the internet, I always turn on
the TV at 7 pm because it provides 100% reliable news, 100%, I have no doubts. So that’s why news
program is irreplaceable for me.
Topic 5: Favorite place

I would like to travel and I visited many wonderful places. But the favorite place that I visit every
summer is Vung Tau city where my uncle and aunt live. It has very blue and clean beach, the most

Topic 6: Job

Since I was a kid, I've had a fascination with numbers. I like to arrange, control and even play with them.
That's why I chose to study accounting and my dream job is becoming a chief accountant in the future.
Chief accountant mainly organizes accounting work, supervises, makes future forecasts. To become a
chief accountant, first of all, you need to get a university degree in accounting, in addition to have many
years of experience, as well as a certificate of chief accountant. Moreover, i find out that is not all. A
chief accountant has to be able to lead and control the other accountants. It is not easy and may take a
long time for me to fulfill my dream, but I will try my best to make it come true.

Topic 7: Weather

I was born and raised in Hanoi, which is in the north of Vietnam. Therefore, there are four
seasons in the year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. However, my favorite season is autumn. You
know, in Ha Noi, the weather is very complicated, it can be very hot or very cold. But in the fall, the
weather is wonderful. It has blue sky, white clouds and cool winds. It also makes the air fresher than
usual. It is not too hot or cold, so I can wear my favorite clothes, very comfortable. This is also the time
when the leaves fall, the streets will be filled with the yellow color of the leaves, very romantic. So I love
to ride motorbike through my favorite streets on autumn afternoons, I forget every stress and pleasure,
it is really relax. People said that weather in Hanoi is like a girl, unpredictable, but with me, in the
autumn, she is the most beautiful.

Topic 8: Transport

My favorite means of transport is bicycle. I have been riding a bike since I was a kid and now,
when I know the advantages that bicycles bring, I want to use it even more. I ride a bicycle everyday. It is
very good for health, for my bone, helps to lose weight and protect me from heart diseases. It’s also
eco-friendly, of course, with no emissions, no fuel, no traffic jams, no environmental pollution. One
more thing, I can save money for parking space, repair costs. Moreover, when cycling, I can enjoy the
weather, the air which makes me feel very relaxed. With all those advantages, I think I will use the bike
more and more. And I think we all should use it instead of other vehicles.

Topic 9: Famous person

The person i admire is gordon ramsay. He is a famous chef. I knew him when I suddenly watched
masterchef junior show. I really like the way he evaluates the food, guides the cooking, and especially
the way he encourages the younger contestants. He worked in many restaurants from small to large,
constantly trying to show his ability as well as learn more experiences from experienced people. He even
suffered from mental stress because he practised a lot. Effort smiled at him. He has won many cooking
awards and became masterchef at the age of 27, In addition, he also owns many famous restaurants. He
is like an "endless inspiration" for those who are passionate about cooking. He reminds me of quote:
“One the way to success, there is no trace of lazy men”

Topic 10: Teacher

The teacher I admire the most is my math teacher, Ms. Ngoc. She only taught me 9th grade, but
she also left a lot of impressions on me. I had some trouble with math, but then it has been better since i
met her. She always conveys knowledge in the most simple way. More than that, she's very good at
motivating others. She created positive energy during the class so that we didn't get sleepy and helped
us focus on the lesson. Specially, I can't forget when we was preparing for the high school entrance
exam, I felt so pressured. At that time, she was always there to encourage me, tried to explain the
lessons that I didn't understand. It was a big change in my life, and i don't think i can have this day
without her. I’m very grateful and I wish her all the best

Topic 11: Subject

My favorite subject in university is computer accounting. This subject is mainly practiced on computers,
entering accounting data and then calculating. Because it is a practical subject, not a theoretical subject
like previous subjects, it is not boring. It not only adds to my knowledge of the accounting profession,
but also helps me to have a deeper understanding of the accounting professions that knowledge. This
subject helps me get acquainted with accounting software, which I have to use a lot in the future. In
addition, it also helps me to have more skills and practical experience on the software, which also helps
me to apply for a job easier. That why I have spent a lot of time for this subject, not only for the score
but its usefulness.
