REFLECTION
CHAPTER 1
Lesson 1
Lesson 1 is about the philosophies in education. I found out that there are philosophies in
education which are perennialism, essentialism, behaviorism, existentialism, linguistic
philosophy and constructivism. In this lesson I learned each philosophies and symbolism that we
can use it in philosophies in education.
Lesson 2
Lesson 2 is about our own philosophy about teaching. This lesson is guide our vision and
mission when we become a teacher. And it guides me on how we will intact ourselves to our
own philosophy when we will become a teacher.
Lesson 3
Lesson 3 is about the good and bad thing about being a teacher. This lesson assesses the
traits that we should remember while teaching. This is also to take care the students and our own
reputation.
Lesson 4
Lesson 4 is interviewing a former alcoholic who was rehabilitated. I remembered him
sharing his experiences regarding of addiction. He advice people to stop drinking alcoholic
beverages as it can ruin your life and future.
Lesson 5
Lesson 5 is about our own metaphor of what teaching is like for us. We do the activity
where we do comparative assessment of what teacher is like as a profession, mission and
vocation for us. I wrote my own opinion about this and got my ideal point where I able to
compare this and got my own perspective.
CHAPTER 2
Lesson 1
In this lesson we are asked to make an acronym of the word TEACHER. We also have a
comparative assessment where we use comparison to describe a teacher. Being teacher is indeed
a noble profession for it takes a lot of hard works to offer for the betterment of this world.
Lesson 2
In this lesson is showing the capabilities of a 21st century teachers. I wrote the 5
commonly capabilities of the teachers of this century. This is also reflected to me, for it made me
realize that I must be like this when I become a teacher. I just remind myself that being a teacher
of this generation must have a long patience
Lesson 3
In this lesson is determining the connection of local officials and the school in specific
activities in the community. In this activity I know that school and community has a specific
connectivity to each other. They both are nourishing the child’s mind and both building the
capabilities and future of the generations.
Lesson 4
This lesson is about network linkages with organization. I have learned that schools does
not stand alone or by its own
CHAPTER 3
Lesson 1
In this lesson I have know that being a global teacher does not need for us to teach abroad
or in other country as long as we think broadly or globally we can be called global teacher. I
have also know the capabilities of being a global teacher once that stays on my mind is having a
deep thinking or depth knowledge.
Lesson 2
In this lesson I found out the different education system of different countries. In this, I
also know that our educational system has a similarity with other country, so I believe that our
education system is globally competitive.
Lesson 3
In this lesson is about the characteristics of multicultural classroom. It enables teachers
and educators to give value to the differences in prior knowledge, experiences of learners from
diverse background and familiarity with students’ histories of diverse cultures (Haertel, 1998).
Lesson 4
Exchange programs create chances for participants to learn, grow and to work with the
other educators abroad. Teacher exchange program trained future teachers who instinctively
appreciate the essence of international collaboration, empathy, and global competitiveness,
incorporate global topics into your teaching.
Lesson 5
Our generation today is fond of technology where we can be able to do lot of things
easier than before. In the activity, we are asked about the kind of technology we wanted to use in
our classroom. I choose something than can be more accessible and it’s a social media platform.
CHAPTER 4
I learned about the basic law in teaching and the importance of following it. This protect
the right of students and also the teachers.
CHAPTER 5
The Code of Ethics challenges educators to use current data and professional knowledge
to improve practice in the classroom. Keeping up with new trends and current information,
through professional development and continuing education, allow teachers to do their very best
with each student. The principals involved in the Code of Ethics show that educators are
committed to improving the educational process for exceptional learners on a case-by-case level,
making sure the needs of the individual are met to produce the highest possible learning outcome
for each student.
