Modalities relating to projects

1. All the students are required to follow the timeline prescribed for the topic selection,
submission and presentation of projects announced from time to time.

2. The project has to be the original work of your own; plagiarism is strictly not allowed.
Very serious penalty, including awarding 0 marks, shall be considered in case of
plagiarism.

3. The components i.e. project and presentation both are assessed during the
presentation process wherein the examiner asks questions to satisfy himself regarding
your understanding about the project and thus, forms an impression about your
contribution, originality etc. in the project. Therefore, a standalone project has no value
unless a presentation has been made.

4. Joint projects are not allowed.

5. Moot Memorial will not be accepted in lieu of a project.

6. There is no page limit as such, however, an average project should consist of 8 to


12 pages including bibliography.

7. Project topics must be confined to the syllabus prescribed for the current semester
and related issues.

8. Case comments, critical comment on a contemporary issue, essay, research articles


etc shall be accepted as a project

9. You may follow any one of these popular citation styles:

10. You may like to learn the use of Mendeley software (free) for referencing /
citation. (Recommend only for those who have pc with 4gb or more RAM otherwise it
will create issues)
