GSS 500 -GRADUATE SEMINAR

GROUP ACTIVITY

ACTIVITY 2: ORGANIZE AND CONDUCT A WEBINAR;


Note: Webinar series will start on November 13, 2021

1. The class will be divided into 6 groups


2. Each group will organize and conduct a webinar with their chosen theme.
3. Each group will have 2 speakers from its members.
Flow of the program
a. Preliminaries
b. Introduction of the speakers
c. Speakers’ time (each speaker shall only have a maximum of 15-minute talk)
d. Q & A (10 minutes for the 2 speakers)
e. Closing
4. The webinar will be done on the official time schedule of the GSS 500 with 60 minutes
time limit.
5. After the webinar, the participating group will rate the group who organized the webinar.

Note: The class will agree on the criteria for evaluation.

Each group shall prepare the following:


1. Registration form for the webinar (via google form)
2. Promotional Poster for the webinar (Will be posted in FB together with the registration
link and the webinar link)
3. Evaluation form for the webinar (will be used for rating) - the class will agree on the
criteria for evaluation
