Organic farming was a unique experience for me as I have never engaged in such
activities, when I first went to the field I thought it would be easy but once I
started working on planting the seeds I got to know that the process of farming
Is not easy so we discussed among our team to diversify the work where some
people plough the soil and some will plant the seeds and cover the seeds up with
soil and the rest of the members would water the seeds planted but little did we
know it was just the start, everyday we had to water the seed planted in order
for the seed to turn into a plant and also there were many wild bushes that were
growing next to the plants that we planted so we had to get rid of them when
ever we see the wild plants, With team work farming was done efficiently and
less time consuming. Eagle cup responsibility was given to the seniors of the
school to prepare and organize and as a class we had discussed and created
various committees and I was the head of the food committee. In the food
committee we had discussed the various restaurants we could get to our Eagle
cup event and the placement of the stalls in tents were to be arranged by renting
it and also we had to coordinate with the logistics committee for the
transportation of the tents, the machinery and the food. Together we made the
Eagle cup a fantastic success.
