1. In the first picture, the pregnant woman feels the contractions. When the fetal head is in the pelvic
chamber, pressure is felt on the pelvic floor muscles, which reflectively cause a feeling of
straining. The woman feels pressure on the rectum and is about to have a bowel movement.

2. In the second picture, it can be seen that the mother is starting labor accompanied by her husband

and assisted by a midwife. Because at the time of childbirth the mother feels anxious about her

situation, there must be support from her family and husband

3. In the third picture, there is a baby with umbilical cord. After the baby is born, the uterus feels

hard with the uterine fundus slightly above the center. A few minutes later the uterus contracts

again to release the placenta from its walls. Expenditure of the placenta is accompanied by

bleeding. Usually the placenta detaches within 6 to 15 minutes after the baby is born and comes

out spontaneously or with pressure on the uterine fundus.
