CHAPTER – 1:

Introductory Chapter

1.1 - Executive summary

Summery tells us why management analysis on this project was conducted.

What aspects of problems were considered on the analysis, what its outcome
was and what should be done accordingly? Summery is a vital part of a report.
Studies have indicated that most managers only read summaries, where minority
read the rest of the report.

Management is one of the systematic rules of controlling of an organization. It carries

out managerial power, behavior in official and daily work. The Premier Bank Limited is
one of the popular Banks in Bangladesh. Premier Bank Limited was only focused on the
banking System at its very beginning. But now it does have different sort of banking
purpose and has programs or systems to improve its banking system for convenience
and satisfaction of the customers thus fulfilling its goal, in other words, making profit.

1.2 - Methodology:

The method is very simple. The main methodology is collection from the secondary
data or information from the financial statements of the company and use various
formula to calculate.

1.3 - Sources of Data:

We were in need of lots of data in order to complete this term paper. Thus we have
gathered and organized data from the employees of “The Premier Bank Limited”, Bank
Annual report and also researched online.

1.4 - Limitations:

Analytical limitations that can be identified with regard to economic behavioral studies
are similar to some of those formerly discussed about Bank capital studies. Samples of
households or individuals included do not usually represent the most impoverished
population groups; for those groups, the economic effects of supplementation or of
short-term changes in food availability may be significantly greater than are measured.
4|Page
Whether a study involves supplementation or exogenous changes in food availability
and/or in labor requirements, the size of the experimental effect is never known in
advance, and is likely to be variable between individuals.

options left.

2.4 – The Management System of the Bank:

Year 2002 brought in new momentum in Management. The functions and

responsibilities were redefined in all levels with focus on marketing and quick decision-
making and better customer service. Head Office Management was strengthened by
induction of a few seasoned Bankers and Professionals. Newly constituted Head Office
Advisory Committee comprising Managing Director, Deputy Managing Directors,
Advisor and Consultant jointly examines the cases thoroughly from professional
perspectives before referring for decision of Executive Committee / Board. Also Premier
Bank has introduced "Branch Management Committee" in all the Branches with
objective to ensure smooth operation of the Branches. These two measures have
brought dynamism, involvement and fast decision making both at Head Office and
Branches.

Chapter – 3
3.1 Findings:

After SWOT analysis, we find the bank has an excellent Management System. Overall
the banking processes and their customer service is good along with the maintained
good relationship between the customers and the banks employees. It is noticed during
the analysis period that the employees are required to provide good service to the
customers and to maintain quality.

3.2 Suggestions:

The bank must change certain rules and regulations regarding the service, quality of
products and fees charged to achieve their goal, which otherwise would become a hard
nut to crack. In doing so the bank must be careful not to give up on the quality of service
it provides currently to its customers as well as establishing new banking products to
support better service along for the future. More facility, better service and products that
ring the bell for the customers, at a cheap rate would bring in flood of profit and would
blow the competition out of water, meaning more business for the bank too. A few
overlooked sectors need to be reconsidered.

3.4 Conclusion:

The result of a wonderful network along with the history of continuous success for 10
years, Prime Bank Limited celebrates its 10 birthday this year. The success of the
