CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT LEVEL

To view the Account Level of an existing account login to the Customer Support page of your PTC
Account: Customer Support.

Basic Account:

A Basic account will be used by Mathcad Single Users and Mathcad Student Edition users having
Product Codes that begins with JW/JG/JA/JE/MP/MT/MK). The Customer Support page will show no
maintenance information but will provide the option to upgrade the account if the user has
purchased maintenance. For Mathcad Single Users without maintenance or Student Edition users a
Basic account is the appropriate account. These users should proceed to the Mathcad Case Logger.

Mathcad Single Users who have purchased Maintenance should select the “Upgrade Your Access”
link.

Customer Support Account (Upgraded Account):

A Customer Support account (Upgraded Account) will be used by customers who have purchased
maintenance. Customers with Active maintenance will have access to logging Technical Support
cases through the Mathcad Case Logger as an Enterprise Customer. Review the “Customer Support
Information” section to view your maintenance status.

Customers with Inactive maintenance will not have access to logging Technical Support
cases with the Enterprise Case Logger. However, they will retain access to using the
Licensing tools listed in the Enterprise Case Logger.

Options:

1. Customers with Inactive maintenance should review the Customer Name and Number on
this page. If the Customer Name and Number on your account are different than the
Customer Name and Number on your Order Fulfillment Confirmation Letter please contact
the Web Account Support Team to have your account updated.

2. Customers with Inactive maintenance may contact our Maintenance team if they would like
to request a maintenance renewal quote: Customer Care Case Logger.
