Reflect
In what ways have you experienced God’s inspiration in your life?
(Write your reflection in three to five paragraphs)
During the pandemic there is not much I can do to help myself. Especially the things I used
to do before everything collapsed. I miss every event that we can do as a family, friends, and
loved ones. Everything was fine before the pandemic that caused many teenagers and children to
change and to adapt for the survival. Some may have adapted to this kind of situation but others,
they have a hard time on believing in hope and lose their will to act.
Before when the pandemic started all was lively until all was affected by death, sadness,
and loneliness. I couldn’t even eat, sleep, and do things normally. There even was a time that I
don’t want to stand up from my bed because of this event. Even my parents are helping me to gain
energy for the day.
Until one day July 30, 2021 my parents became ill. After some test they tested positive of
COVID-19. From there I was the one to help my siblings in their needs while my parents are ill. After
3 weeks I have adapted to the situation and my parents told me to organize things. They were 2
weeks in the hospital. August 12, 2021 they came back home safely. And after some weeks we
were back to normal again.
That time I realized that there is still one who cares and the one who protects us. There will
help us in time of need and complete us. The one that completes our unity is God. From then, I
started again to gain more energy and to believe in hope. Since then I began to be more lively
and hopeful to live. Now there are times that we are lucky in the day sometimes not. But all of this
happen because of one reason, hope. Hope that there are good things that will happen even in
this time.
