Directions: Perform an experiment by following the procedure below and answers the guided questions after. (5 points each)

Materials:
355 ml or 12 oz. soda drink
5 pcs soft menthol candy

Procedure:
1. Drop 5 pieces of soft menthol candy in a 355ml or 12oz of soda drink.
2. Wait for a few seconds and observe what will happen.
3. Record your observation in your Science notebook.

Guide Questions:

1. What did you observe? (5 points)

2. What does the soda drink bottle represent? (5 points)

3. What does the liquid inside the bottle represent? How about the liquid outside the bottle after the eruption? (5points)

4. Compare how the soda liquid flows with how lava flows? (5 points)
