Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the treatment

I received in your hotel last week.

Last Saturday night I left some of my belongings including a

laptop and some jewelry in room number 615 of your hotel.
There was a notice in reception claiming that valuables could
be left in one´s room without any risk. I barely left the room
for fifteen minutes and when I returned everything was
vanished.

However, far from thinking poorly of the employees, I was

convinced there had been a mistake. Therefore, I decided to
talk with your in house hotel staff regarding the matter. But
none of them showed any interest in my loss. Instead I was
rebuked for leaving things in my room unattended; where it
was clearly mentioned in your check in kit that it is
absolutely safe to leave things behind.

In my humble opinion, it is a grave concern from a guest´s

point of view. I have stayed in your hotel on many occasions
and it has always turned out to be a pleasant experience. I
will not do so again unless I receive an explanation for the my
missing valuables and an apology for the unacceptable
treatment that we received.

Yours faithfully,

Silvia Pérez Zarco

Dear Mr. Rodney,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the European

Holiday we bought through your company.  The reference
number of our transaction is ABC 7890.  I am sorry to inform
you that the holiday just did not match up to the promises
made to us in the brochure or the itinerary.

To begin with, the Tour Manager, Mr. James Edward himself,

was not well-versed with the itinerary and, what is more, I
had never met such an extremely rude and bad-tempered
person. His attitude towards the group was unacceptable.

Besides, the accommodation arranged was also pathetic.

Though we were promised four-star accommodation in all the
locations, we ended up being put up in hotels which were no
better than budget ones.

As far as I am concerned, it is extremely unfortunate that a

company of your reputation promises exotic holidays and
fails to meet the promised standards.

We have opted for your agency on many occasions and it has

always turned out to be a pleasant experience. We will not do
so again unless you kindly look into the matter, take a
suitable action and award us some sort of compensation.

Yours sincerely,

Silvia Pérez Zarco

Dear Mr. Kumar,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the

unsatisfactory meal that my family and I had when we visited
your restaurant on 16th March to celebrate my son’s
promotion.  Unfortunately, the sub-standard food served in
your restaurant really dampened our spirits.

To begin with, the dinner started off in a very disappointing

way when we were served some tasteless lukewarm fluid
which was passed off as chicken sweet-corn soup.  The
starters we ordered were dripping with oil, though we had
specifically requested fat-free food.

Besides, the main course was equally disappointing.  Despite

having ordered an assortment of vegetarian as well as non-
vegetarian dishes, they all seemed to taste the same.

However, the only redeeming feature that evening was the

courteous and friendly manner in which your waiters
patiently heard our numerous complaints. I hope in future
the quality of your food is able to match up to the quality of
your service.

I have eaten in other branches of The Majestic Restaurant all

over the country, but I will not do so again, unless I receive
an explanation and apology for the poor quality of the food.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr. Mitchell,

I am Kimberley Wright and I live in the apartment above

yours. I have tried to contact you many times but your house
keeper tells me that you work at nights and since I work in
the mornings, we are not able to meet.

I am writing to you to bring to your notice and express my

dissatisfaction with some issues related to your flat.

First off, I have noticed that your son Brian has a party
almost every night at your place. In case you are not aware of
this, I take it as my responsibility to inform you of this. The
issue with your son’s get-togethers is that he plays loud
music and it is impossible to get to sleep. Besides these
deafening noises, there has been the sound of fights through
out the night on many occasions.

Even so, last night I decided to knock on your door and asked
politely if he could turn down the music. I received the most
unacceptable treatment of my life. He was extremely rude and
bad-tempered.

I demand that you to take this matter seriously and as most

urgent. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to press charges
against you.

Yours sincerely,
Dear Ms. Andrews,

This is with reference to Product Number 234567 which we

had bought on 3rd January from your company.  The receipt
number of our transaction is ABC12345.

As per our mutual agreement and contract, you were

supposed to deliver the Product in working condition and
install it for us.  I am sorry to inform you that your company
has failed on both counts.

We had hoped for a long lasting working relationship with

your company but in view of the careless handling of our very
first order, we may have to seriously re-consider our
intentions.

I request you to kindly look into the matter at the earliest and
send us an immediate replacement within one week of receipt
of this letter.

Thanking You,

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Wright,

I am Deborah Roberts and I live in the 6th Avenue, Park Street

in Minnesota. We have a super market in our neighborhood
which has opened recently. Earlier we had to go to Burgolow
Street to fetch the necessities. We were quite delighted to see
the new store.

The reason for my writing to you, sir is that I suspect that the
license produced by the super market manager is fake. He
does not allow people to check the goods and frequently picks
up quarrels with customers who demand to check his license.
In this regard I would be very grateful if you can check on
this. If it is proved genuine, we would be the happiest
neighborhood. Also as responsible citizens we would like to
get the store closed if it is illegal.

I hope to see quick action on the case.

Thanking you,
Dear Mr. Olsen,

Please treat this letter as a formal complaint against your

Department, for not settling my Car Insurance Claim, bearing
reference number 2345 ABC.

I met with Mr. Wolfe who is handling my case several times

and submitted all the necessary papers.  Though I get
assurances that everything is in order and I should be getting
my cheque soon, nothing has materialized for the past one
month.

I regret to inform you that I have never had to face such

problems in all my previous dealings with you.

I request you to kindly look into the matter and settle my

claim at the earliest.  I am enclosing a copy of all the
documents I had submitted earlier for your perusal.

Thanking You,

Hello Sir,

This is a gentle reminder of our previous complaint against

the poor housekeeping services at the ‘B’ block of the ladies
hostel. Being one of the residents of the same block, it
becomes really difficult to bear the bathroom stinks for
weeks. It had been some three to four weeks when the hostel
lavatories and bathrooms were last cleaned. With three pairs
of bathroom-lavatory pairs and more than ten heads in a
single floor, it becomes really tiresome to keep cleaning them
ourselves.

Also, the corridors and dustbins remain equally neglected for

months. None of the sweepers are found during the stipulated
hours of work. We kept docketing our complaints in the
hostel complaint register several times, but of no fruits.

It is becoming an unbearable nuisance to be tolerated any

more. We are looking forward to your visit at the mentioned
block so that we may find a way our from it.

Thanks and regards,

Common questions

Powered by AI

Common themes of customer dissatisfaction across different service sectors include unmet expectations, poor-quality products or services, and inadequate responses to complaints. In the hotel, travel agency, and restaurant cases, dissatisfaction arises from broken promises (e.g., security, accommodation standards, food quality), indicating a critical gap between marketed services and actual experiences . Additionally, customer complaints about response times, lack of interest in resolving issues, and rude behavior further exacerbate dissatisfaction, suggesting a systemic need in various sectors to align service delivery with customer expectations and improve complaint handling procedures .

Communication skills are a pivotal component of the candidates' applications for both the teaching and correspondent positions. The teaching applicant underscores linguistic knowledge developed through teaching experience, highlighting communication as a key strength necessary for effective teaching and collaboration in team environments . Meanwhile, the correspondent applicant emphasizes journalism experience and the ability to convey perspectives from Lithuania, suggesting that communication skills are crucial for reporting and conveying information effectively in their role . In both cases, communication skills are integral to fulfilling role-specific duties and enhancing professional effectiveness.

The job application letters demonstrate the candidates' qualifications and suitability for their respective roles through detailed descriptions of their experiences and skills. The applicant for the English teacher position highlights ten years of teaching experience, team working abilities, and linguistic skills, aligning with the job requirements . Similarly, the correspondent applicant emphasizes journalism experience, linguistic proficiency, and familiarity with Lithuanian perspectives, enhancing their candidacy by offering unique insights . Both letters showcase the applicants' academic backgrounds and practical experiences, portraying them as strong candidates for the positions they seek.

The complaint process described for the hostel housekeeping services appears to be ineffective. Despite multiple lodgings of grievances in the hostel complaint register, no remedial actions have been taken over several weeks, indicating a lack of responsiveness from management. The persistence of issues such as unclean lavatories, bathrooms, corridors, and unattended dustbins suggests systemic neglect and failure to address resident concerns. This inefficiency underscores a need for improved management engagement and accountability to ensure that residents’ complaints are resolved promptly .

Silvia Pérez Zarco's complaint about the restaurant implies significant lapses in customer service standards. She reports unsatisfactory meal quality, such as tasteless soup and oily starters despite requests for fat-free food, and uniformly tasting main courses, indicative of poor food preparation standards. While she acknowledges the courteous attitude of the waiters, the complaints highlight a disconnect between service and product quality, underscoring the need for consistent, high-quality dining experiences to meet customer expectations and maintain a restaurant's reputation .

Deborah Roberts suggests that there should be an investigation to verify the authenticity of the supermarket's license, indicating her suspicion of it being potentially fake. She asks Mr. Wright to check on the license and clarifies that if it is proven genuine, it will be beneficial for the community. Conversely, if found to be illegal, she advocates for the store's closure to ensure consumer protection and adherence to legal standards .

The European Holiday experience deviated significantly from expectations due to several factors. The Tour Manager, Mr. James Edward, was unprofessional, unfamiliar with the itinerary, and displayed rude behavior towards the group. Furthermore, the accommodation provided fell short of the promised four-star quality, as the hotels were comparable to budget options. These issues led Silvia Pérez Zarco to conclude that the tour did not meet the standards set in the brochure or itinerary, prompting her to demand an explanation and compensation .

The mishandling of the product delivery by Ms. Andrews' company could lead to a breakdown in business relationships due to unmet contractual obligations and a failure to deliver and install the product as agreed. Such breaches undermine trust, potentially prompting the client to reconsider future engagements with the company. The negative experience may result in a loss of repeat business and damage to the company's reputation if not swiftly rectified. This situation necessitates immediate corrective actions, such as replacing the faulty product and offering remediation, to preserve the business relationship and restore client confidence .

Kimberley Wright attempts to resolve the noise issues caused by Brian by directly communicating with his father, Mitchel Smith. She writes a formal letter to inform him of the parties Brian hosts, which result in loud music and fights, disrupting her peace. Kimberley emphasizes the urgency of the situation, highlighting the negative impact it has on her ability to sleep and warns that if the issue persists, she will have no choice but to press charges. This proactive approach indicates her desire for a resolution through diplomatic means before resorting to legal action .

Silvia Pérez Zarco raises several issues regarding her stay at The Majestic Hotel. She reports the loss of valuables, including a laptop and jewelry, from her hotel room, despite a notice at reception stating it was safe to leave valuables in the room. She feels the hotel staff showed no interest in her complaint and even rebuked her for leaving items unattended, contrary to the assurance provided by the hotel. Additionally, she expresses dissatisfaction with the lack of proper response from the staff and demands an explanation and apology for the treatment she received .
