Research Process
1. Define your topic (of interest)
- read related literature
- first step in conducting a research is choosing and defining your topic.
- you must have read related literature/article in order to describe.
2. Problem Statement
- This is to be tested during the entire research process
- (1) How would they know.. (2) How would they attain
3. Make an Outline
- serves as the first draft
- write all gathered relevant information in line with your research topic.
4. Develop a Research Strat.
- Remove non-essential topics
- Developing a Strat minimizes the time and effort you will be putting on your paper.

5. Evaluate your Resources
- check the quality and credibility of the sources that you will use in the study.
6. Write and Revise Your Paper
- Check the contents of your paper.
- make sure that they are in line with the topic and problem.
7. Document your Sources
- it shows credibility of the researcher.
- must have a Strat.

1. Quantitative
- numerical figures

- numerical data
- Objective
- How many questions
- literature review is usually done before the study
- Tests a theory
- Measurable
- Reports statistical analysis.
2. Qualitative
- narratives and stories.
- perspectives (philosophical)
- Subjective
- What and why questions
- Lit. Review may be done as the study progresses.
- Develops a theory
- Interpretative
- Reports rich narrative, and individual interpretation.
- collecting data based on observations. Aims meanings, descriptions and symbols.
3. Mixed method (Quali and Quanti)
